Riding Dirty T-Shirt from Neckbeard Apparel

I’m stopping in on this Friday night to bring you guys an awesome tee called Riding Dirty from Neckbeard Apparel (certainly an interesting brand name). The design reminds me a bit of a someecards design (a good thing), with an old-timey illustration partnered with a funny slogan. I think this tee is super funny, especially because I love those old bicycles (as I’ve mentioned on troundup about ten times now). Anyway…good concept, good execution, great t-shirt. Not much more time to write because I have to go taste test the awesome Tito’s Vodka that I picked up today! Wish me luck.

You can grab this design for $25 CAD (that’s like $5 in US Dollars, right?) at NeckBeard Apparel.

P.S. I do actually know we don’t dominate the CAD anymore. Sad times, though.

Threadless Collaborates with UNICEF for Charity

Threadless UNICEF Shirts

I’m long overdue for posting about this awesome new partnership. Threadless has teamed up with UNICEF and a bunch of cool artists to create a whole line of t-shirts that help benefit those in need. The t-shirts, which range in price from $18.57 to $300,000 (yes…three hundred thousand dollars) are all the dollar amount required to donate a specific item. So if you bought the $18.57 shirt, you’d be donating a mosquito net, while the $36.10 t-shirt would donate de-worming tablets. Get the gist?

The actual designs on the t-shirts are drawings of something related to the item being donated. They’re simple designs, but cool in their own way.

I suggest that you check out all the different shirts they have to offer, and then pick one up and help some people in Africa at the same time. I know I’ll be using some built up STPs to purchase one of the more expensive shirts!

Art vs Music T-Shirt from Poketo

This shirt is out of stock in everything but size Large, so I guess this post is a little bit of a tease. I dig the design though, and I wanted to share it with people anyway. Plus, if you are a size Large, it’s in stock and on sale. You’re welcome!

The design is simple–it’s just art fighting it out with music in the age old debate. I love the style of the design though, especially the geometric nature of the two figures. It looks super cool. Also, art kind of looks like its holding a lightsaber…so thumbs up for that.

You can pick up this design for the low sale price of $14.00 at the Poketo store. As I mentioned, it is unfortunately only in stock in a unisex/men’s Large.

P.S. Hopefully you have been taking advantage of the plethora of Independence Day t-shirt sales. If not, I would get on that.

Charlie Sheen’s Best Quotes in T-Shirt Form

If you haven’t heard what’s been happening with Charlie Sheen lately, you need to find out, and then berate yourself for not knowing about it sooner. He’s become incredibly outspoken, in a crazy person type of way. Yet, I still can’t stop myself from saying, “Wow…that man is saying a lot of badass things, sprinkled between a lot of crazy things.” Here’s an illuminating video with some great lines, but if you’re more of a reader, here a few of my favorite quotes from him:

Here’s my personal favorite:

My conduct is bitchin’, my condition is perfect.

Some insight into his life:

I’m tired of pretending my life isn’t perfect and bitchin’ and winning every second.

His party style:

“[I was] bangin’ 7-gram rocks and finishing them because that’s how I roll. I have one speed, one gear … go!” and “I am on a drug, it’s called ‘Charlie Sheen.’ It’s not available ’cause if you try it once you will die. Your face will melt off, and children will weep over your exploded body.”

On winning:

I’m bi-winning. I win here, I win there.

I could go on forever, but I’ll stop there in the interest of space. Suffice it to say, it’s a comedy gold mine. That’s why I’m so happy someone made this awesome collection of shirts. The shirts display one of Charlie’s quotes, or his face in some cases, with the text “Live the Sheen Dream” below. I’ve gotta say, I wouldn’t mind livin’ the Sheen Dream now and then, and I’m 99% sure I’m gonna buy one of these shirts. Go learn about living the Sheen Dream…if you think you can handle it, that is.

Thanks to Coty for inspiring this post and my interest in Charlie Sheen.

Rhino Hunter Tee from Sharp Shirter

I saw this shirt on Coty’s favorite shirts of 2010 list and I had to post it up here. It’s just super goofy, and I like that a lot. Green on purple looks cool, and maybe the rhino is getting a little Deer Hunter type revenge on poachers (so good for him!).

Sharp Shirter has a few quirky shirts like this; all of which come off well in my opinion. If you’re interested, you can pick it up for $22.00 at Sharp Shirter. It’s printed on American Apparel blanks.
