Over the past few weeks I’ve gotten really into Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (often shortened to Art in the Age). I’ve featured them in the past, but I never realized they were located in Philadelphia and have a flagship retail store here (which I will be going to soon). They just do a ton of cool stuff, my favorite being their crazy awesome organic and historical liqueurs (a big part of my birthday present to myself). I bought Root, and Snap, which are both incredibly delicious. They also have a third, Rhuby, which was unfortunately sold out when I went to the liquor store. The two that I got are amazing though, and I think they’re fairly well distributed at this point, so you have a chance of finding it in your area. I heartily recommend that you check out the descriptions for all of them–they are indeed as delicious as they sound (if not more…).
Anyway, I chose to feature there very cool logo t-shirt today, and will be blogging about a bunch of their other tees in the near future. Maybe I’ll even try to get some pictures of the tees in their native Old City flagship store environment. I really do love the logo–it feels very Illuminati’ish (in a cool way). It looks simple and clean on the tee, which is just the way I like it. Plus, when people ask you about it, you can tell them about this awesome group called Art in the Age.
I think it’s time to stop rambling about my fan’dom for Art in the Age. But…you can pick this tee up for $28.00 at their online store, and you should also definitely check out all the liqueurs. You will not regret it. They cost about $33 each for a very sharp looking 750 ml bottle and are worth every penny.
Washed Out Band T-Shirt–Insound and Delicious Design Project #3

Sorry for the delay in posting–I’ve been travelling back and forth between houses and it’s slowed me down a bit. I’m back though, and ready to dive into things with renewed vigor! Doesn’t that sound fun? Anyway, I wanted to start with the third offering from the awesome Insound and Delicious Design collaboration project. If you haven’t heard, the collaboration creates unique and extremely limited edition t-shirts for various bands. This t-shirt is for the band Washed Out, who I’m not very familiar with. I’ve heard a few of their songs and remember liking them, but that’s about it. What’s more important though, is that I like the design and I like what Insound and Delicious Design are doing, so I’m going to support them. If you’re a fan of Washed Out, you should probably buy this shirt, because it’s awesome. It also supports a cool website, slangin’ the vinyl like it’s the 60s.
Even if I didn’t know this was a band t-shirt, I would still like it. The bullseye looks awesome, and I love how they have the “W” cutting through it. The design looks great! You can pick it up for $19.99 from the Insound store. Remember, the design is very limited, so they won’t be around forever, and you won’t see a bunch of strangers wearing it. Also remember that we have an Insound coupon code page, which usually has a coupon good for 10% off (although I think that just expired, unfortunately). You should also check out Washed Out–I will definitely be familiarizing myself with them in the coming days.
I apologize if this writing seems a little “rambly”. My brain is kind of fried from doing a bunch of non-t-shirt writing, and I’m having trouble being succinct.

If you’ve read my blog for a decent amount of time, you probably know that I am a huge Arrested Development fan. As such, when a t-shirt company that I already really like makes an Arrested Development shirt, I, well, get a little giddy. This shirt, Bluth Family Crest, from 604 Republic caused such giddiness in me.
This shirt is just a treasure trove of little references that Arrested Development fans will love. The chicken, the bananas, the hook, and so much more are all there. It’s just a great shirt, and it does Arrested Development, one of the best written (and just best) TV shows, justice.
If you love Arrested Development as much as I do, you can pick this shirt up from 604 Republic. It will cost you $19.95. We’ve also got an exclusive 604 Republic coupon which should give you 15% off.
P.S. Cross your fingers and pray that the Arrested Development movie really does happen, and, more importantly, that it maintains the incredible quality of the show.

So, after two straight all-nighters and a generally hellish (school work wise) weekend, I am back and ready to get posting. All I have is a few simple tests left–the research papers are all behind me. I thought I would start my summer with a shirt I’ve been wanting to write about for a long time–The Invisible Man from Miles to Go Clothing. Shirt is just sweet. H.G. Wells is cool and all, but I find myself thinking more about the Three Stooges when I look at this shirt. Whichever connection you make, it’s still pretty cool. I also love that he’s smoking a pipe, ’cause pipes are sweet.
You can buy this shirt for $25.00 at Miles to Go’s store. It’s printed on an American Apparel coffee colored tri-blend tee…so it’s incredibly comfortable. Enjoy, and be ready for a much more regular posting schedule.
Every Single Charlie Sheen T-Shirt–Interview Quotes + More

My other Charlie Sheen t-shirt post was such a huge attraction that I decided to give the people what they want, and make a list of every Charlie Sheen t-shirt that I can find. I already posted about those awesome Skreened quote-based Charlie Sheen shirts, but now I’m going to do every shirt there is (or that I can find). I’m also going to sprinkle in some more of my favorite quotes from his statements. Remember, live the Sheen Dream! I hope you enjoy:
Busted Tees was quick to jump on the Sheen bandwagon with this Winning shirt. Check this out to save 10% at Busted Tees–get your Sheen for even cheaper than the $14 presale price.
Are you afflicted with bi-winning just like Charlie? If so, get yourself a prescription with this shirt from Rocks Off.
This one is just a little Sheen portrait, but I really like that they made his face blue. Check it out!
“If they do discover my blood to be tiger blood, I hope that nobody will be shocked!”
Another blue face shirt, this time with the Winning statement below is face. You can buy this one from Barstool Sports.
If you can’t read the text of this one, it says “I’m on a drug…it’s called Charlie Sheen.” I don’t think I could handle the drug called Charlie Sheen. If you think you can, though, buy this one from Donkey Ts.
Kid Cudi Moon Face Shirt from Karmaloop

I really like Kid Cudi. I posted that awesome Cudi portrait from The Cooler Collective a little while back, and now I’m going to partake in a little more Cudi love. This one is essentially the album cover, and I thoroughly dig it. I just think it’s an iconic image (even though Cudi ain’t quite at that icon status yet). The face on the moon was a great album cover, and it translates into a great shirt.
You can pick this one up from Karmaloop for $20.00. If you haven’t given Kid Cudi a listen yet, I recommend you do. Pursuit of Happiness and Revofev are good places to start in my opinion. We’ve also got a Karmaloop coupon good for 20% off your order, making the shirt only $16.
Teen Dream from Insound–Beach House NOT Katy Perry

A while ago I posted this idea of doing a wittily alliterative series of posts called “Music Mondays,” which would feature me posting up a shirt from one of the bands I like every Monday. I’ve decided I want to bring this back. Now it won’t necessarily be every Monday, and it might not even be on a Monday at all, but I’m going to do it. I like band shirts for two reasons: First, I get a lot of my music for free.99, so I want to at least give the band some merch money. Secondly, a lot of bands just have damn cool shirts. It’s a win-win.
The first shirt (in a while) that I want to feature is Teen Dream, a shirt for the band Beach House. This is not Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream, because that came after and kind of stole the name. It’s Beach House, who has deservedly blown up with their most recent album. Favorite tracks of wine from Teen Dream include Used to Be, Take Care, and Zebra.
I think the shirt looks pretty damn cool too. A cool shirt for a cool band. You can pick the shirt up for $19.99 at Insound, which is a great company selling lots of merch/CD/vinyl. It’s printed on American Apparel 50/50 shirt. I’m happy to be able to support Insound. They did that great 10 for 10 series of shirts I posted about, which contains another awesome Beach House shirt.
