It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything from Rise and Resist, but they always have cool tees, so I thought I would go ahead and change that. I really dig this one–”Slow Hands”. It looks super interesting–the black arms on the white just coming out at odd angles is awesome. I also love how the red nails pop–looks great.

Back in early November (yeah, I’m slow), I got an email about a new t-shirt from a guy named Brett Amory, available at INDVSL. I dug the shirt, put it away in the “to be reviewed” folder, and then promptly forgot about it. I’ve finally rediscovered it tonight, and I would like to share it with you guys. I really like the “blurry” style (what’s the real name for that, art history majors?), and I love that the design isn’t centered on the t-shirt. It makes it more interesting for some reason.

About a week ago, I got an email from Ed about his brand Cloth & Resin. They’re located down under in Australia, and here’s a bit about their influences from Ed himself:

Cloth and Resin is a small independent group creating unique collections of clothing with a focus on quality, comfort and simplicity. This t-shirt, Power to the Peaceful, comes from their latest Southern Summer 2011/12 collection (remember, they’re Aussies so they have weird seasons…no offense). I really enjoy this design–I think the illustration is great, and I agree with the subject matter as well. I’m getting a little rambly ’cause it’s late, but suffice it to say…I dig this shirt.

I really enjoy quality typography t-shirts, and from what I’ve seen so far, 8teeSix seems to deliver that. They just recently launched and currently have three designs out. The design I’ve featured is available in two colorways, so they’ve got a total of four shirts for sale. I think it’s a pretty creative type, and I like that it kind of looks like those peel-off Twizzlers (that’s probably not the right term, but whatever. I don’t know anything about art). Cool stuff.

While this shirt is a bit of a departure from most of the designs I post on troundup, I nonetheless dig it very much. Much like Tom Haverford’s fascination with “the shapes” on Parks and Recreation, I find myself thoroughly enjoying these stripes. Something about them just attracts me. It makes me feel like I’m swaddled in a cacoon of plush love (ok, maybe a bit hyperbolic. It’s close though). I dunno–I think the designer just has his or her shapes down. It’s cool stuff.

I’m checking in today to post up another sweet t-shirt that has been lurking around my “Get Reviewed” Inbox.  The design, entitled From the Ashes, comes from Another Safe Landing. I hadn’t heard of these guys previously, but I definitely enjoy their stuff. This design is both their newest release, and my favorite of their offerings. Astronauts are an inherently awesome topic, and the way they illustrated him/her makes it even cooler. My favorite element is definitely the moon’like body of the astronaut. That, combined with the general style of the design, is quite awesome.

If you’ve read this blog for a decent amount of time, you probably know that I love Fullbleed (and open every Fullbleed post with this little tidbit). I wanted to share this great tee, Rough Flight, from Rob’s newest series of designs. I like the colors of the tee, and the message is also pretty cool. The design is simple–it’s just art fighting it out with music in the age old debate. I love the style of the design though, especially the geometric nature of the two figures. It looks super cool. Also, art kind of looks like its holding a lightsaber…so thumbs up for that.

Ammmmmggggg. Fullbleed Series 11 has just launched, and boy is it great. As is Fullbleed’s modus operandi, there are a ton of awesome t-shirts in this series. Rob Dobi, the man behind Fullbleed, has one of my favorite t-shirt design styles (hence why he’s been on my “favorite t-shirt companies” list since pretty much troundup’s inception). His designs are just so…elegant? I can’t find the adjectives I want, so I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Here are some of my favorite t-shirts from Fullbleed Series 11, but you should check all of them out.

In total, there are nine new t-shirts (I think I counted right). He’s also released two awesome prints. One of these prints is of Bombshell (the shirt on the bottom right), while the other is only a print. This second one, The Optimist, is a great piece of art. Definitely check it out–we can branch out a little beyond t-shirts, right? There’s a picture of it below.

Hit up the Fullbleed store to check out all the new releases. I’ve also got a Fullbleed coupon page ready to go should Rob ever release a coupon. Unfortunately, he has yet to do so. I will never lose hope, though.

Ok, I know this technically isn’t a t-shirt, but…this raglan is just so damn cool that I had to post it anyway (plus…there’s a t-shirt version, so it kind of counts). I’ve posted about Out of Print Clothing before–in fact, I’ve even posted about the t-shirt version of this shirt. As you can probably tell from my previous posts, I really like what Out of Print is doing. Essentially, they take great classic novels and t-shirt’ize them. Yes, this is the official term–t-shirt’ize. They make them into awesome t-shirts for the world to enjoy. It’s a great concept, and they do it exceptionally well.

This specific design, which is one of my favorites from them, is, quite obviously, J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye. I know this design is basically just the book’s cover, but boy does it look great. It’s the little things of how they transferred this design from book to shirt that make it so great. Out of Print didn’t have to make major changes, but the little changes that they did make are just what was needed.

I may be rambling a little at this point due to not getting a ton of sleep, so I think I’m going to end it here. You can pick up this awesome Salinger raglan for $38.00 at Out of Print Clothing, or you can grab the white t-shirt version for $28.00. Expect more from Out of Print Clothing in the future, because I really dig their stuff.
