I love skull headed guy chillin’ in the car, and how he’s way larger than the car. It’s an awesome design all around. It’s also on sale for only $10, which is a great price for a quality design printed on an American Apparel shirt. Pick it up at Strange Monster.
The propaganda is everywhere. If you don´t keep your eyes open to it then you just might choke. Design by Portland based designer Tim Brenner.
Our designer Anthony Cozzi, aka Snowblinded, cooked up this haute t-shirt for the label, now available online. $22 for US orders, shipping included. American Apparel.
I don’t actually know what CMYK is (it’s some design term for something to do with colors, right?), I just think some of these shirts look cool. This one is super limited edition, I think there’s only like 14 shirts left. Be unique at Plastic Sound Supply.
I’m rockin’ the type tee for the second time in two days. This one is for sale at Desired Hearts, but it comes from a designer I really like – AJ from Collision Theory. He did the Black Hole Sun shirt from Design by Humans, as well as a bunch of other great designs. Desired Hearts is also really cool in that they donate $5 from every sale to the charity of the buyer’s choice – that’s a pretty large percentage going to charity.
Elektra was kind enough to send me this crazy awesome, crazy soft, alternative apparel, Obama shirt. The shirts they are printed on are truly amazing – just really comfortable. This shirt got some well deserved publicity when it was worn by Madonna.
The packaging it was sent in was awesome. It came handwrapped in unique, printed Obama Paper. It was tied with cut up strips of fabric, and I even got a card. You can tell that a lot of care went in to the shirt, from start to finish.
Each shirt is also hand-printed, without the use of any machines, which is pretty damn cool.
Be sure to check out the whole Etsy shop, the quality and care of both the designs and actual shirts is top class.
I wrote about Teefury awhile back with their Darth Vader shirt. They’ve had a few tees I liked since then, but none that really stood out to me. Cue this one, Enter the Wild. Pretty awesome design – I really like that it’s on blue instead of the usual orange that people use for tiger shirts. You can grab it today only for $9.
I can’t stand black shirts (I get really hot in them if there’s any sun/light around), but these two from Imaginary Foundation almost make me forget about that – especially the second one. Maybe someday they’ll print these on dark blue or something (hint hint), but until then, I urge all you people who don’t dislike black shirts to pick these up. They’re $30 each at Imaginary Foundation.
Vintage Vantage was kind enough to send me three of their awesome shirts to check out. Just like my earlier review, I was again blown away by the awesomeness of the shirts. Here are some some shots of the shirts I snagged:
Probably my favorite text tee ever. I think the line is genius.
Who needs drugs when you have yourself?
This shirt made me lol. On the front is the tiger, and on the back (not pictured) it has the text, “I’m Right Behind You”. Of course, if someone is reading the text on the back of your shirt, theres no way you could be behind them.
As usual, the shirts are incredibly soft. I wish I knew where they got their Vintagesoft fabric, so I could buy it in bulk, and maybe use it as sheets on my bed. The prints are super soft too, you won’t even notice they’re there.
They’ve also released a new site, complete with a blog. They appear to be adding new shirts at a more rapid pace than before, and every week they’re discounting one of their shirts down to $12.50 (you get to vote to decide which one). All of these things are awesome things, I think they’re a great company and will continue to grow.
I just wish they would stop having sales on their blanks (not actually), they’re taking all my money. Check out their blanks section to pick up super Vintagesoft ringers for $2.50 and hoodies for $20.
So, check out Vintage Vantage and buy some shirts, you won’t regret it. I’d venture to say they’re my favorite company out there right now. I even set up a special Vintage Vantage coupon page to house up-to-date coupons for them. Right now you can save 21%.
I was looking around Bigcartel for new tees when I came across this one. I think it’s a sweet design, but I especially like the motivation the artist had for creating the shirt. Here’s the background in his own words:
I was asking my friends one day what I should design next, and a couple of my friends suggested I draw some red and yellow elephants.
I don’t think this what they had in mind, but I couldn’t think of a better way to make a bad ass bull elephant then to make it look like it was angry, red and big.
