Headline Shirts just recently came out with another great t-shirt in their line of wrongly attributed quote t-shirts. This time it’s Confucius telling you to think for your damn self. As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It took me a little while to “get” this t-shirt, but when I did, I really liked the design. For those with similar difficulties, look at Princess Leia, who relies solely on her infamous hair to “hear no dark side” (much like a pair of ear muffs). I think it’s pretty funny–hopefully you do as well.
You can only buy this shirt for the next 12 hours (Unamee is one of those rapid speed t-shirt design competitions). With that being said, the design only costs $10.00, so it’s not like it’s a huge investment. Go ahead and buy it at their store.
Steven Chastain wants to spread science awareness through t-shirt comedy. I can get behind that cause. His Kickstarter project has three days remaining, and he currently has raised $2,095 of the $3,200 he’s shooting for. My favorite design is definitely the “Ockam’s Brand Razors” featured above, though you can check out all his designs on the Kickstarter page.
P.S. Is Ockam also a correct spelling (I’ve only seen it Occam), or am I missing part of the joke?
Choke Shirt Company just released their Spring Line of 22 new t-shirts. This design by far my favorite. No, that’s not a turkey, it’s the elusive dodo…rocking another extinct object, the Walkman. I like it–it’s a very witty design, and I enjoy the contrast of the colors.
You can buy Extinct from the Choke Shirt Company store for $24.00. Use the coupon code “SPRING” to get 20% off and a free sticker pack. Check out the rest of the new designs while you’re over there. They sell the design in both a unisex version (which I’ve linked to), and a woman’s version.
“Rap Music Makes Me Feel Invincible” is one of my all-time favorite type tees. As such, I’m happy to report that it’s back at Print Liberation. It’s a different design than before (I like the previous version better), but it’s still a great shirt.
You can buy it for $24.00 at the Print Liberation store. It’s printed on an American Apparel tri-blend t-shirt, which is the most comfortable shirt ever.
Threadless prodigy Glenn Jones is still pumping out awesome t-shirts at his shop, Glennz Tees. My most recent favorite is this awesome take on Batman and Penguin, titled Arch Enemies. I think the shirt is pretty self explanatory (though if you need some explanation…try here), and it’s got that usual goofy style that Glenn does so well.
You can buy the shirt for $21.95 at the Glennz store. Glennz Tees is also running a current promotion where, if you buy three or more shirts, you get 25% off…so that’s worth keeping in mind.
I used to be pretty obsessed with Shaun of the Dead in high school (and on a tangential note, I think you can find me and my friends’ experimental version of Hot Fuzz 2 on YouTube), so I’m honor bound to post any Shaun of the Dead t-shirt I come across. It’s just an added bonus that it comes from 604 Republic, which is a great t-shirt company.
Here’s a pretty witty Jaws reference on a t-shirt from ShirtPunch, a fairly recently reinvigorated daily t-shirt contest. The shirt is, of course, a play on the oft misquoted “you’re gonna need a bigger boat” line from the movie. I think it’s funny–hopefully you do too.
The shirt is on sale for the next 23 hours only at the ShirtPunch store. You can also get it printed on a variety of clothing pieces that are not t-shirts, though I can’t understand why you would ever want to do that.
