Here’s a pretty witty Jaws reference on a t-shirt from ShirtPunch, a fairly recently reinvigorated daily t-shirt contest. The shirt is, of course, a play on the oft misquoted “you’re gonna need a bigger boat” line from the movie. I think it’s funny–hopefully you do too.
The shirt is on sale for the next 23 hours only at the ShirtPunch store. You can also get it printed on a variety of clothing pieces that are not t-shirts, though I can’t understand why you would ever want to do that.
Headline Shirts is back at it–taking creative liberties with quotes from famous historical figures like they never stopped. This time, they bring you oddly prescient words from George A. Custer before his famous last stand: “Gotta like these odds.” I love this series of shirts, and Custer’s Last Words is no disappointment. Plus, the man has a sweet mustache, which just adds another layer of cool to the shirt.
I saw this sweet mountain lion t-shirt on Reddit and I had to share. I’m not sure just what’s happening in this shirt…but I am sure that I like it. It’s just one of those designs that appeals to me (and as I’ve said before, I always love personified animals).
You can buy the t-shirt for $20.00 from the folks at Free Dirt. They print on t-shirts that are “comparable to American Apparel,” so they should be comfy.
*note, if you actually need free dirt, you can head to freedirt.com and avail yourself of all the sod you could ever desire.
If you’re looking to showcase a political t-shirt but don’t like what the actual parties have to offer, Fancy Politics is for you. They have some interesting takes on the current election, as well as a few shirts from the past, including this Bill Clinton themed shirt, Rascal. They also have a JFK shirt if that’s more your style.
Rascal, and the rest of their offerings, can be found at the Fancy Politics store. It sells for $20.
P.S. Don’t tell Hillary about “rascal”.
This isn’t a new design, but all of 604 Republic’s t-shirts are so cool that I have to systematically go through and share them all with you. This one is a quite funny combination of the childhood staple Operation with the not-so-childhood-but-slightly-older-person staple of Alien. I love it.
You can grab the design in a limited number of sizes for $20.00 from 604 Republic (small and large are still in stock). Hopefully it gets reprinted at some point for all of us mediums. I’ve got a 604 Republic coupon page to save some bills, too.
P.S. I think I’m back to posting now. Hooray!
I’ve definitely mentioned before that I’m a sucker for t-shirts that personify penguins (no, that’s not oddly specific). Design by Humans has just released another shirt for me to add to my list (which pairs nicely with penguins wearing sunglasses). This time the penguin is wearing headphones, which is as cool as it sounds. This guy would probably be good friends with the hip hop bear from Go Ape Shirts.
Anyway, I dig the shirt, and you can buy it for $20 at the Design by Humans store. They print on their custom 100% cotton DBH premium tees, and I’ve got a list of Design by Humans coupons to save you 10% or so on your entire order.
Shark Week is back and that mean’s I am obligated to remind you all about Jon’s awesome Live Every Week Like It’s Shark Week t-shirt, a superb melding of both Shark Week and 30 Rock. I post about this shirt every year because it’s definitely my favorite Shark Week t-shirt. Unfortunately, this is the last year that Jon will be selling this shirt, as he’s hanging up his hat as a t-shirt seller. So, don’t miss out, because this shirt will soon dissapear.
You can buy Live Every Week Like It’s Shark Week for $20.00 from the Mediocore Clothing store. As I said, Jon is only selling these until he runs out of stock, and then they will be gone forever. They’re printed on light blue American Apparel blanks. Enjoy the Week! Unfortunately I’m not able to watch this year because I cut the cord…oh well.
P.S. Last year I posted about some other cool Shark Week t-shirts, some of which I think are still available for sale. I will probably post up more recent shirts this week as well.
I’ve previously posted about Headline Shirts’ awesome line of quotes that are misattributed to famous people, but this one has a special place in my heart given the frequency and volume of mojitos that I have been consuming. Hemingway was a drinker who sometimes wrote a bit. Unlike the other quotes from Headline Shirts, I could actually picture Hemingway saying this, which makes it all the funnier. Either way, it’s a good shirt to wear to a party.
You can pick it up for $14.00 during the first week or so of it’s existence, and then the price will jump up to $24.00. You can also make use of one of my Headline Shirts coupons to save a bit.
In the vein of that funny “Socrates vs. Plato” Mortal Kombat themed t-shirt from 604 Republic, I bring you a similar battle design from Teefury. This time, however, it’s two fast food giants facing off. Ronald McDonald takes on The King in a battle to the death. Now I don’t eat fast food, so I have no opinion on who should win. I don’t need to eat fast food to know that this shirt is funny, though.
You can grab it for only $10.00 at the Teefury store. Like all Teefury designs, it’s only available for purchase for six more hours (until Midnight est.), so you have to decide quickly if you want it.
T-Shirt Laundry just released one of my favorite Game of Thrones t-shirts. Tyrion “The Imp” Lannister hasn’t gotten a whole ton of love, and this shirt fixes that. I think Tyrion is pretty badass, so any shirt that characterizes him as such is fine by me. I also like the image of Tyrion in pimp attire, t’is funny stuff.
You can pick up the Impin’ Ain’t Easy shirt for $14.00 over at the T-Shirt Laundry store.
