Fashion Rules from Go Ape Shirts

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted about Go Ape Shirts, partly because they’ve been quiet as well. However, Josh’s new release of a shirt by Olly Moss, in Momento Mori, prompted me to go back and take another look.

I can’t believe I’ve never posted about this shirt before. The dude just looks awesome. Pure, pure, awesome. I would be proud to wear this shirt.

Check it out over at Go Ape Shirts. It’s printed all up on an American Apparel tee.

God Save the Villain from Threadless

God Save the Villain! - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

I just watched Batman Begins today (which technically doesn’t have the Joker, but who cares), so when Threadless released this shirt I felt an urge to post it. It’s pretty damn creepy, but in a good way.

Check it out at Threadless. I try to keep the coupon site updated as well.

In other news, spring break starts tomorrow. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Introducing Hirsute History from Jeremy Kalgreen

“hirsute [hur-soot] -adjective: of, pertaining to, or characteristic of hair.”

Man, Jeremy is always coming up with great ideas for shirts (and lines of shirts). This one is definitely no exception. Thanks to Jeremy, you can proudly display the hair of any number of your favorite historical figures.

The colors he picked (yellow and red) are excellent and, much more importantly, they’re all beautiful renditions of the applicable person’s hirsute inclinations (did I use that right?).

Anyway, check out all the options at Hirsute History–I’ve only picked two of my many favorites. While you’re at it, check out Jeremy’s other stuff as well. It’s grand. Amorphia Apparel was one of the first brands I wrote about, if I can remember that far back (it’s been like 3 years. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!).

The PrepOwl from Owlses

I’ve got to say–this is a damn interesting theme for a site. To quote them, “Owlses uses the world’s ubiquitous, smartest, loved and simultaneously misunderstood extant nocturnal birds of prey that resemble and blatantly celebrate a (usually) stereotypical character in society.”

I think this one, PrepOwl, is my definite favorite. I love the glasses and the shirt design, replete with skinny tie. The colors just look great.

You can pick it up for $20 at Owlses, on what I believe is American Apparel. I’m definitely gonna keep an eye on these guys–I wanna see what owls they come up with next.

Just Jew It from Lonely Dinosaur

There’s something funny about a Hasidic Jew doin’ the Michael Jordan dunk. It’s quirky and kind of random, but made me laugh nonetheless.

Just Jew It comes from Lonely Dinosaur, who are the makers of the Philosoraptor shirt I featured awhile back. You can pick this up for $20 on a really comfortable organic cotton T-Shirt.

Check it out.

Bad Trip from ARKA Clothing

You don’t want to have one of these–the trip that is. The shirt though, is cool. Oodles and oodles of magical mushrooms!

I think the shirt looks cool and kind of psychedelic, but not in an obnoxious way. It is a little expensive at $34.99, but…the shirts appear to be high quality (read below). So if you’ve got the dough, you’re probably getting your money’s worth.

Non-toxic(non-formaldehyde) print on premium cotton tee.

Fungus Man from Threadless Select

Just popping in quick today to post about a recent Threadless Select shirt I’ve been ogling. I think the color mix looks great. They all work well together and none of them really pop out alone. Also, the strange dimensions (oversized head) give it an interesting look. I’m debating adding this one to my collection–which is kind of big, because I haven’t bought a Threadless shirt in a long, long time.

If you share my desire to add this shirt to your collect, check it out at Threadless. It’ll run you $25.00.

Bookworms Need Love Too from Vintage Vantage

So I suppose this is kind of random, but I read a lot of books, and I definitely do enjoy love, so this shirt does completely make sense. It also made me laugh just because it’s a bit goofy.

One of my goals when I go back to college is to get in better shape so I can wear all my Vintage Vantage shirts (and blanks) and look good, because the sizing runs a little tight. That being said, their shirts are also insanely comfortable, which makes me like wearing them. They also seem to randomly have a bunch of shirts on sale too, including this one. It will only cost you $12.00. Use a Vintage Vantage coupon to save even more (33% to be exact!

Mt. Killrazorclaw from Linty Fresh

Mt. Killrazorclaw is Linty Fresh’s December, 2009 release. Like usual, the design is quirkily awesome with a really unique style. I like the idea and implementation of the mountain not only being alive, but sounding kind of vicious. I also like how subtly he managed to incorporate the Linty Fresh brand. I’m usually not a fan of branding but if it blends in so well I’m ok.

You can pick this one up for $22 at Linty Fresh. It’s printed on American Apparel.

Monsters in my Cortex from Threadless

I’m sad that I missed this, because it’s sold out now. I really like the simple style though, and I think everyone gets the feelings of monsters in the cortex every once in awhile.

Do they ever reprint Threadless Selects? I forget their policy on that. I feel like they don’t, which sucks, because I would like to purchase this shirt. Oh well, live and learn. We can all just look at the pretty picture and envision actually owning the shirt.
