I’m finally done with final exams and ready to get back to sharing some great t-shirts with all of you guys, and I’d like to start with this one. Unfortunately, because of those finals, I’m a few days late on the news cycle. Still, hopefully by now you’ve heard of Amare Stoudemire’s rage-filled punching of a fire extinguisher which sidelined him for one playoff game. Well, this t-shirt captures that moment for all eternity by replacing the “R” in Amar’e's name with a fire extinguisher. Pretty witty and cool.
This design will only cost you $20.00 at Crosstown NYC, who are legitimately located in Queens, New York. The t-shirt is very limited edition (I believe a run of only 130), so be sure to get in quickly.
A Sweet Troy + Abed Community T-Shirt from Teefury

I’m back with Internet after a day-long outage caused by some careless construction workers. Thankfully, I got it back just in time to share this awesome Community (the TV show) t-shirt with you. The shirt is essentially an ode to Troy and Abed. The styling is pretty awesome–it’s got a Sesame Street theme going to it. Not sure why that was chosen, but it’s very unique, and I definitely dig it. Plus, Troy and Abed would love that the shirt is in a cartoon style.
You can buy this awesome Troy and Abed t-shirt for only $10.00 at Teefury. Remember though, this design is only available until midnight tonight, and then it’s gone forever. Don’t miss out! Here’s two more Community shirts for your enjoyment.
Three Sweet New Shirts from 604 Republic

Sebastian from 604 Republic (a brand I really enjoy) just emailed me about their three new releases. All the designs are pretty sweet–they’ve got Star Wars, Calvin and Hobbes (childhood!) and the Neverending Story. Ok, let’s check ‘em out, in order of how much I like them:
This first one is called Ride the Falcon and features Han Solo and Chewy riding a very literal falcon, rather than their more traditional spaceship. Pretty badass, right? I think so.
This shirt, named Malvin & Cobbes, is essentially a tie for my most favorite with the Star Wars shirt (I could never rank Calvin and Hobbes low). If this doesn’t bring you back to your childhood and make you want to buy the shirt, I don’t know what will.
This last one is another ode to childhood. I wasn’t as in to the Neverending Story as Calvin and Hobbes, but it’s still a cool design.
The last two shirts will cost you $21.00 each, while the Ride the Falcon t-shirt will cost you $22.00. I’ve got a page with 604 Republic coupons that should still save you 10% or so on your order. I will also be sure to keep you updated with the next batch of sweet shirts from 604 Republic.

It’s been too long since I featured anything from Glennz, so when I saw this awesome Mario themed t-shirt on sale, I had to share it with everyone. Glennz is that famous Threadless guy who had such great designs that he decided to open up his own shop. He makes very funny and creative designs, this being one of them. Well-done Mario shirts will always earn a spot on troundup.
As I said, this t-shirt is currently on sale for only $15.95 at the Glennz store. Glennz prints his shirts on American Apparel blanks.
Grand Canyon, a Ron Swanson T-Shirt from Threadless

Threadless just released an awesome set of t-shirts from one of their popular artists, Mike Mitchell. This entire line of shirts is dedicated to cartoon portraits of famous people (or other “living” things). Of these many awesome portraits, my favorite is one depicting Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation, because…well, because Ron Swanson is a total badass. It’s odd seeing him as a crying cartoon, but the rare moments of weakness that he shows must be immortalized forever. This shirt gets a solid A+ from troundup, and I will probably add it to my collection soon.
You can buy the shirt for only $18.00 at the Threadless store. Check out all of Mike’s designs for some really cool stuff, and click here for Threadless coupons to save you some money.
Booze Hound T-Shirt from R_evolution_GFX at MySoti

This t-shirt is an awesome play on the very recognizable Jack Daniels logo. Now, I’m not a huge Jack Daniels fan (Woodford Reserve for the good stuff, Jim Beam if you’re trying to be cheap), but I do enjoy this shirt very much. It’s very witty, and I love the different slogans–”Quality Personality Except When Wasted” might be my favorite. I feel like it applies to a good number of people.
In its current configuration you can buy this shirt for $26.65 from MySoti. You can also mess around with the blank it’s printed on and the color of the shirt (although you should definitely leave it as black). Enjoy, all you booze hounds.
French Poppa T-Shirt from Society6

You may know Society 6 from their awesome collaboration with Threadless. They’re much more than that though, and they have a ton of original content that is really great. I was just browsing their shirts and, while I like a whole heap of them, this shirt really stuck out to me. It’s Notorious B.I.G.’s song, Big Poppa, translated into French. With French being the language of love (supposedly), this is hilarious. The concept is brilliant, and this t-shirt rules.
You can buy French Poppa for $18.00 at the Society 6 store. They print on American Apparel and are offering free shipping until Sunday. Check out the rest of their stuff, because it’s awesome. You can also wait for it show up on troundup, because it definitely will.
A Visual Compendium Of Notable Haircuts In Popular Music from Pop Chart Lab

Pop Chart Lab is an incredibly interesting brand that just released four awesome new designs. Their designs remind me of really detailed infographics, but made into t-shirt form. As Aileen informed me, all their shirts require hundreds of hours of research to get all the details right. These are no mere shirts. They have shirts exploring and mapping things like rap names, beer, movie monsters. All are incredibly detailed and accurate.
All of those are very cool (and will be posted about in the future), but this design showcasing famous haircuts from music is definitely my favorite. It has every relevant person on it. I won’t even try to list all the names, but if someone is notable and in modern music, they’re probably on the shirt. Shirts like these are always great for wearing, as you’ll definitely get tons of attention and people looking at your shirt. I like this design very much–it’s a cool concept, and it’s executed well down to the very last detail. Good stuff.
You can buy this shirt for $18.00 at Pop Chart Lab’s store. You can also zoom in on the shirt to see every haircut in detail. While you’re over there, be sure to check out all their other cool stuff as well.
Bowser T-Shirt from Sleepy Dan – Nintendo, Baby!

Sleepy Dan has been emailing me for awhile about their shirts, so it’s about damn time I get around to posting something from them. They have a good number of shirts, but this homage to the classic Nintendo character, Bowser, is definitely my favorite. I love how they did the design and captured the 8-bit feel. Apparently more characters will be coming in the future, so I look forward to seeing those.
If you’re a big Nintendo/Bowser fan, you purchase this tribute for $26.00 from the Sleepy Dan store. All of Sleepy Dan’s shirts are limited edition runs, so once this bad boy sells out it’s gone forever. So basically, if you like it, buy it now. Also, if you want another cool Nintendo tee, check out this sweet Retired Mario t-shirt from 604 Republic that I posted about months ago.
Perception T-Shirt from Ugmonk

This eye-bending perception trick is pretty popular, but as usual, Ugmonk made this shirt awesome by doing the design cleanly and choosing the perfect colors. It’s a very simple design, but Ugmonk gets the weighting of the borders and everything else perfect. I also love the white lines on the mint shirt (I think that’s the proper color nomenclature). So yeah, this is just another clean, simple, and awesome design from Ugmonk.
You can purchase Perception for $24.00 from the Ugmonk store. They print on American Apparel blanks, and as I mentioned, I believe the color of the blank is “mint”.
