First, I want to apologize for the lack of posts the past few days–it’s finals time, and they’ve been quite annoying. I’m done after tomorrow though, so I can get back to posting full-time.
I’ve got a couple of Threadless related news items today. First, they’re having a 48 hour $9.99 t-shirt sale, which starts today and lasts until 12/13 at 11:59 PM CT. During this time, all Threadless t-shirts are only a mere $9.99. This is another great chance to get some Threadless gifts for Christmas (or anything else you celebrate). Everyone loves Threadless t-shirts, so your gift is sure to be a hit. Go check out the sale, and remember you only have 48 hours of sale prices.
Additionally, I have another cool Threadless thing–I have my own curated page on the Threadless site. You can check out all my favorite (in-stock) Threadless gear, and hopefully pick up something cool from my list. I was super happy when Threadless emailed me about it, so I hope you guys will check it out, and maybe even give me some feedback on my picks (which you can snag for cheap!). So yeah, please check out my curated shop at Threadless, and enjoy the $9.99 sale.
I couldn’t really think of a title for this post just because the t-shirts at ThenWear are so out there (a good thing). All of the t-shirts (in the section I’m linking to) depict popular historical figures as if they were on a musical tour. You’ve got Galileo’s “Don’t tell the pope” Heresy Tour, Attila’s Huns in the Sun Tour, and many other funny tour shirts. I like them very much. I’ve posted a picture of two of my favorites, but you should certainly check ‘em all out.
ThenWear is newly launched (on the 5th I believe), so I’m betting they will be adding even more to their collection. Additionally, they do more than just the tour shirt, so you should check out of the rest of their funny, and sometimes ridiculous, “historical” t-shirt line. The shirts will run you ~$25 from what I’m seeing. Now go check out their store. You can get free shipping by using the code “2011StandardFree“.
I’m stopping in on this Friday night to bring you guys an awesome tee called Riding Dirty from Neckbeard Apparel (certainly an interesting brand name). The design reminds me a bit of a someecards design (a good thing), with an old-timey illustration partnered with a funny slogan. I think this tee is super funny, especially because I love those old bicycles (as I’ve mentioned on troundup about ten times now). Anyway…good concept, good execution, great t-shirt. Not much more time to write because I have to go taste test the awesome Tito’s Vodka that I picked up today! Wish me luck.
You can grab this design for $25 CAD (that’s like $5 in US Dollars, right?) at NeckBeard Apparel.
P.S. I do actually know we don’t dominate the CAD anymore. Sad times, though.
Call me a sucker for odd and obnoxious superheroes, but I dig today’s Tee Fury design. In case you can’t read it, the text says, “Here comes…BAREDEVIL. The man without pants”. The illustration is, obviously, appropriately ridiculous. It’s a goofy tee that immediately drew a chuckle from my face, and it’s getting posted up on troundup because of that.
As with all Tee Fury shirts, Baredevil will only be sold for 24 hours. It costs $10, and disappears from production in 23 hours (so don’t wait around).
Goodie Two Sleeves has just launched their annual huge Black Friday Sale! This year, you can get a massive 50% off until the end of next (Cyber) Monday. That’s right, 50% off all of Goodie Two Sleeves’ awesome shirts for a whole week–it’s a huge sale. You can pick up a whole ton of Goodie Two Sleeves t-shirts for very cheap. Check it out. Just use the code HALFTIME to get the 50% off. Additionally, you can get free shipping on orders of $50+, making things even sweeter.
I also wanted to take this post to review one of the many awesome t-shirts that Goodie Two Sleeves sent me (thanks for that!). The first one I want to review is their “This is Just a Drill” shirt:
First off, let me say that the blanks that Goodie Two Sleeves uses are super duper comfortable. Seriously, they’re amazingly soft–like bathing in heaven while you’re wearing it. They also fit me perfectly–which is great because I’m usually stuck in an awkward place between a small and a medium. This one fits perfectly. That may mean it fits a little slim for a bigger medium, but for me?…perfect. As for the design, I chuckled. It’s a pretty funny slogan. It’s just a quality design in general, and will only cost you $21.95 ($11 with their Black Friday sale). Snag it and it’s cottony goodness!
About a week ago, I got an email from Ed about his brand Cloth & Resin. They’re located down under in Australia, and here’s a bit about their influences from Ed himself:
Cloth and Resin is a small independent group creating unique collections of clothing with a focus on quality, comfort and simplicity. Our stoke and influence is the ocean, surfing, art and music which is evident across most of our creations. We’re based out of a sunny beach side studio on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia
This t-shirt, Power to the Peaceful, comes from their latest Southern Summer 2011/12 collection (remember, they’re Aussies so they have weird seasons…no offense). I really enjoy this design–I think the illustration is great, and I agree with the subject matter as well. I’m getting a little rambly ’cause it’s late, but suffice it to say…I dig this shirt.
You can pick it up for $49.00 AUD (~$48 US) at the Cloth & Resin store. They have the design in the grey color that I posted, as well as a much darker charcoal version.
I really enjoy the “Your Argument Is Invalid” meme, and I think Snorg Tees perfectly encapsulated the feeling of that meme into this t-shirt. A goat riding one of those super cool old bicycles (that I’ve told you how much I love)? Sign me up. You’re argument is invalid, bro; because there’s a mother ‘effin goat riding a bike on my t-shirt. It’s the perfect way to show a person with weak arguments just how much disdain you have for them (just kidding, kind of). More importantly, it’s also just straight up funny. I dig it.
You can pick up this t-shirt and tell people how much their arguments suck by checking out the Snorg Tees store. Remember to always check for a coupon before ordering, so you can hopefully save some money. You better not argue with me about how cool this t-shirt is…
Are you ready for a super crazy illustration (well, you probably already saw it, but you get the point)? Here goes…
This shirt comes from Jamie, the man behind Twantard T-Shirts, and is titled “The All Star Monster”. The design is just blowin’ my mind. I don’t know what to think. I dig it though. It’s got an odd allure that I can’t look away from. Maybe it’s his sweet kicks? Who knows? This monster has some goddamn charisma.
You can grab this design, the first of its kind, from Twantard T-Shirt’s store for 12.99 Pounds. Wear it and get some crazy looks from passerby.
First, i want to remind you guys about my exclusive 30% off deal with Threadless. Until tomorrow (November 14th) at 10 am CT you can get a massive 30% off any order of $25 or more. You get an extra 10% off over the second best deal with troundup’s exclusive offer. I’m pretty happy about that, and I hope you’ll take advantage of the offer over the next 16 or so hours. To get the 30% off, just click this link, or visit the post I linked to above for more specific directions.
Next, I want to also feature one of Threadless’ new releases, “Real Vampires”. I don’t entirely love the execution of the design (I think they could have done it better), but I love the fact that it mocks Twilight (sorry Twilight fans! It’s not personal), and I still find the design pretty funny. It also very much preaches the truth–real vampires do not sparkle, they sleep during the day and do cool stuff at night. As I said, I think they could have designed the shirt more creatively, but I still like it.
To sum up–get 30% off at Threadless until tomorrow morning, and show your love for true vampires.
I just got an email from Jaime about his company, Pistache Clothing, which he co-owns with his brother. I checked out their tees and this one is definitely my favorite. I’m usually not a fan of brand labels on t-shirts, but this one doesn’t bother me too much as it fits with the shirt’s design style. I also think the robot looks pretty dang cool. It reminds me a little bit of Wall-E. I dig it. They’ve got the design in a bunch of different colors (including some for men), but this is definitely my favorite version.
You can grab it for 24.99 Pounds over at Pistache Clothing. They’ve got a bunch of designs worth checking out. I especially recommend you browse over their hats–I found some of them pretty cool looking.
