Andy turned me on to the TShirt subreddit over at Reddit a short time ago, and I agree with him that it’s a pretty cool thing to try to grow. I have finally signed up, and will be posting any cool t-shirt related stuff I find, as well as my favorite t-shirts that I post here. I invite you to check it out, and start submitting stuff yourself. There’s already a small, but solid community, and with the addition of more t-shirt fans we can grow it into something cool. I hope to see you commenting and submitting links over there (and here too!).
P.S. Maybe you’ve noticed the new social boxes in the sidebar (to the right). I would love any “social liking” you could throw troundup’s way. I’m making an effort to grow that part of the site.
If you’ve read this blog for a decent amount of time, you probably know that I love Fullbleed (and open every Fullbleed post with this little tidbit). I wanted to share this great tee, Rough Flight, from Rob’s newest series of designs. I like the colors of the tee, and the message is also pretty cool. While I do sometimes feel like the face on the t-shirt after a long flight, I think the message is a little broader (like…life, and stuff…). I dig it.
You can pick up this great design for $18.00 from the Fullbleed store. As with all Fullbleed designs, it’s printed on an American Apparel t-shirt blank.
I was browsing around Crazy Dog Shirts’ selection today when I came across this tee, right in time for Halloween. I think it’s a pretty witty and humorous shirt. On the front it reads, “Ask Me About my Zombie Disguise”, but when flipped, you become a full-fledged zombie (brain eating and all). I think this shirt is pretty rad because very few people are going to predict what happens after they pop you the question. Plus, you get to show off those rock hard abs (always a bonus).
Anyway, grab this one before Halloween so you can wear it around town and get some laughs. It will only cost you $16.99 over at Crazy Dog T-Shirts.
I always enjoy Glennz t-shirts, but this one made me laugh and resonated with how my life has been the past few days: a caffeine fueled binge of annoying group projects. It’s funny because of how accurate it is (coffee bong aside…). Whelp, I can’t spend any more time writing this post–I’ve gotta go get some caffeine and get to work!
You can grab this design for $18.95 from Glennz. Check out all his stuff while you’re at it–he has some great designs.
I want to buy this t-shirt mainly for the almost guaranteed huge number of double-takes it would generate. The t-shirt looks very much like the iconic Che Guevara t-shirt, until you notice that powerful ‘stache. Then you’re like, “Tom Selleck, WTF mate?” Hilarity ensues. This shirt is just too goddamn ridiculous and funny not to post.
You can grab the design for $24.00 from the Headline Shirts store. It’s printed on their own Vintage blend t-shirt. As with all the other Headline Shirts tees I post, be sure to read the description. They’re usually pretty fun. Now go out and show your love for this Magnum P.I. revolutionary.
Over the past few weeks I’ve gotten really into Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (often shortened to Art in the Age). I’ve featured them in the past, but I never realized they were located in Philadelphia and have a flagship retail store here (which I will be going to soon). They just do a ton of cool stuff, my favorite being their crazy awesome organic and historical liqueurs (a big part of my birthday present to myself). I bought Root, and Snap, which are both incredibly delicious. They also have a third, Rhuby, which was unfortunately sold out when I went to the liquor store. The two that I got are amazing though, and I think they’re fairly well distributed at this point, so you have a chance of finding it in your area. I heartily recommend that you check out the descriptions for all of them–they are indeed as delicious as they sound (if not more…).
Anyway, I chose to feature there very cool logo t-shirt today, and will be blogging about a bunch of their other tees in the near future. Maybe I’ll even try to get some pictures of the tees in their native Old City flagship store environment. I really do love the logo–it feels very Illuminati’ish (in a cool way). It looks simple and clean on the tee, which is just the way I like it. Plus, when people ask you about it, you can tell them about this awesome group called Art in the Age.
I think it’s time to stop rambling about my fan’dom for Art in the Age. But…you can pick this tee up for $28.00 at their online store, and you should also definitely check out all the liqueurs. You will not regret it. They cost about $33 each for a very sharp looking 750 ml bottle and are worth every penny.
I think this t-shirt is based on a TV show (Rocko’s Modern Life maybe?). I’ve never seen that show though, so I don’t really care about the connection. I just think it’s a pretty funny take on the huge power that corporations exert in the modern world. Something about the entire earth just being an olive in Conglomo’s martini cracks me up, in a dark depressing way. The “We Own You” tagline just adds to that even further. Something about this tee just resonates with me and makes me chuckle.
You can pick up the t-shirt and support your favorite fictional, world-dominating conglomerate at Busted Tees. It will cost you $20.00 and is printed on American Apparel. For a very short time, you can still get 25% off with troundup’s exclusive Busted Tees coupon. That coupon is expiring very soon though, so don’t wait around.
Teefury’s shirt today is an awesome, Ron Swanson themed, Parks and Recreation t-shirt. Parks and Rec is another one of the shows I really enjoy (and it comes back this Thursday!), so you can bet I dig this shirt. Ron Swanson is a bacon and eggs loving caricature of an over-the-top libertarian. I think this shirt effectively captures Ron’s passion for bacon and eggs.
I love how they drew Ron in this design. They truly do his hair and mustache justice. It”s a pretty goofy rendering, and I love it.
You can grab this Parks and Recreation t-shirt for today only for $10.00. As with all Teefury shirts, after today this design will vanish forever. Only those smart enough to glorify the Swansonator on their chest will have access to it in their closets.
I was always a Star Wars kid growing up, and I never really enjoyed Star Trek all that much. Therefore, I very much like this t-shirt from 604 Republic. It’s called “Beam This!”, and has the ever-awesome Darth Vader throwin’ a powerful upper-cut against some poor chap from Star Trek. I think the symbolism is quite clear (if you’re a Star Trek fan, you’re probably never going to read my blog again. Sorry!).
As with most 604 Republic t-shirts, I think the design is quite funny and very well executed. You can pick it up for $19.95 at 604 Republic. I’ve also got an exclusive 604 Republic coupon which will save you a solid 15% off your order, making the tee only $16.95.
I’m a white college student, so I think i’m almost obligated to like Childish Gambino. With that aside though, I do enjoy a lot of his stuff, especially when he raps over Grizzly Bear. For some reason I like to listen to it while I work–I feel more productive, and that is a great feeling to have. Anyway, I thought I would share this Childish Gambino t-shirt with you guys ’cause it’s pretty cool. You’ve got “Childish Gambino” on the front, and a white silhouette of Donald Glover on the back. The back reminds me a bit of the Kid Cudi t-shirt I wrote about a while back–I think it’s pretty cool.
If you enjoy Childish Gambino you can grab this tee for $28.00 from the I Am Donald store. The price is a little steep, but if you’re a more dedicated fan than myself you might not mind that. Here’s a track from Donald that I enjoy–he’s rappin’ over Sleigh Bells in this one.
P.S. I think part of the reason why I like him is that he’s in Community. Otherwise, being honest, I might not care that much.
P.P.S. Sorry for the tiny image–it’s all that I could find.
