A t-shirt company whose slogan is “clothing inspired by history” is a company after my own heart, because history is a pretty awesome thing. Plus, I used to be really into the Civil War, so this tee is somewhat of a double winner. It’s also a really cool design, so that helps too I guess (pfff, who cares about designs?). I’m diggin’ the foil and hot pink outline on the cannon, it somewhat of an interesting take on a machine made to destroy things.
If you want to add this one to your closet it will hit your wallet for $39.00. Check out their other tees as well for some more historical awesomeness.
I feel like it’s kind of pointless for me to write anything after the very informative graphic above. Maybe I’ll just throw out some random words: banana, slinky, muskrat, otter. If someone makes a t-shirt combining those four elements, I’ll be sure to buy it. If you’re still reading, check out the sale over at Goodie Two Sleeves, or just click the huge picture.
Local Celebrity just recently released some pretty shweet Jimi Hendrix designs. I found it to be somewhat out of their usual style, but I’m very glad that they did it, given the aforementioned shweetness of the shirts. Out of my two favorites above, I think the Voodoo Child is my definitive first place winner. You can pick these two designs, and a third Purple Haze design, up at Local Celebrity. Also check out the Local Celebrity coupon page to see if they’ve released any in the future (I don’t think they have any coupons right now though).
I’m hoping to pick up Jimi Hendrix vinyls sometime soon as well–I figure they should be pretty awesome when I eventually find the means to play them.
Ok, so I might have lied about having an Internet connection while I was in Ohio. Now I’m back for good though (or at least for the next 3 weeks for sure), so hopefully there will be a good stretch of uninterrupted posting.
Today’s shirt is Bomb Drop from the ever cool and supportive (they’re an advertiser!) ReThink Clothing. It’s a pretty slick looking release. I’ll let them give it a quick description in their own words:
bomb,bomb,bomb, bomb,bom babomb.
Ok, it may be more than that. A bomb unraveling in the clouds might symbolize peace and disarmament to some and GOOD. That is the great thing about this shirt to some its a symbol of peace and hope, to others it looks flipping cool!
I’d say they’re fairly accurate. You can pick it up for $19.99 at their site. I think you can also use the code TROUNDUP for 20% off your order, so hopefully that’s helpful. They print on American Apparel.
I’m officially back from Europe, which was a whirlwind and exhausting ride, but still very fun. I’m still catching up on things–I’ve pruned my inbox down to 833 unread emails, but that’s still a lot to go through, so it may take some time for me to email people back (if you’ve emailed me).
I decided to make my first post back in the states this cool type tee from the ever cool Headline Shirts. I like the simplicity of it, as well as the slogan (ignoring any insinuations of arrogance). I think part of why I like it is that the words (letters) just plain look cool how they are printed, and relentlessly is a cool word in my opinion. It’ll run you $24 over at Headline Shirts.
Please bear with me as I try to get back into the swing of things–it may take awhile, especially because I leave again tomorrow for 5 days, although I should have access to a computer for this one.
It’s good to be back, and I hope you guys are still reading!
Who else is excited about the government getting involved in GM? I know I am! I’m diggin this shirt from Despair, Inc. on the basis of solid design and excellent wit. The font and hammer/sickle is just perfect. It will run you $19.95 at Despair, Inc.
PS. Sorry for the slowness of posts lately, unfortunately, it probably won’t get much better, as I’m leaving for Europe for two weeks on Monday, and don’t see myself posting much while I’m there. I’ll be back after that though!
Here’s a shirt from a company, Paper Back Clothing, that I’ve never written about before. I came upon them through Rumplo, and I’m really glad I did, because they’ve got some sick designs going on over there. There are a bunch I like–I just decided to write about this one because it was one of my top favorites. I love the blue and green color scheme on it, as well as the geometry and idea behind the shirt, which, quoting them, is “Infinite space…. need i say more?”.
Pick this one up from Paper Root Clothing for $23.00 on an American Apparel shirt.
Twitter shirts have been growing in popularity, especially with the recent Twitter-Threadless partnership. To continue that popularity spurt, Retro Plus Apparel just released their own Twitter shirt. I like what they’ve done–they’ve combined a way to show off your twitter pride with some good old fashioned self promotion. Who knows, you may even gain some followers from wearing the shirt–they custom print your name on the blank space of the shirt.
You can grab it for $19.99 at Retro Plus Apparel on sweet Alternative Apparel blanks, which are even more comfortable than American Apparel (srsly). Also, because I mentioned self promotion, check me out on Twitter if you’re feeling bored.
Rise and Resist is still at it–it being pumping out quality designs every week. I like how the shades grab your attention on this shirt. I also love the color they decided to print on–it’s way underused and way awesome. I wish more companies would print on some of American Apparel’s less “standard” colors, it adds some real pizazz to the design.
Right now this one will run you $18 at RandR. Go pick one up, or don’t–either way, check out RandR for some sweet designs.
I really like Palmercash, so I like posting about coupons when they have them (we might have gone over this before). They’ve got one again, and this one will get you 15% off your entire order. Their shirts will make you almost as happy as a sunny day, so you should probably buy some (damn–I’m corny). Use PC99 until tomorrow (Thursday) for 15% off your order. Also, check back for the latest Palmercash Coupons.
One more also–if you want to buy me something off of my Palmercash wishlist with the coupon, I’ll buy you something of more value at Design by Humans. So if you spend like $20 on me, I’ll spend like $25+ish on you (so I’ll spend like 25% more than what you spend on me). It’s like a fun gift exchange. Just shoot me an email if you’re interested.
