I can’t stand black shirts (I get really hot in them if there’s any sun/light around), but these two from Imaginary Foundation almost make me forget about that – especially the second one. Maybe someday they’ll print these on dark blue or something (hint hint), but until then, I urge all you people who don’t dislike black shirts to pick these up. They’re $30 each at Imaginary Foundation.
Fed up with the economy? Give it the big F You with this shirt from Print Liberation. It could also be interpreted as the economy getting an F grade, but I prefer to go with the former interpretation. Print Liberation has some awesome text tees, and are coming out with a lot of political tees due to the coming election. If you support Obama, you’ll probably like them, if you don’t, they probably won’t be your thing (unless you think Palin is an alien).
With an unconditional love for typography, design, logos, screen printing and creative direction, Print Liberation works hard everyday to make smart and effective design for the world and its people.
It’ll run you $15 and is printed on American Apparel.
Busted Tees just came out with some voting themed shirts by Someecards (they take the old pictures and put the words for those who don’t know). They’re some pretty cool shirts, with the top two above being my favorites. I just wish they had used some color variation, all the gray get’s a little annoying.
Also, they’re having a Recession Special, where all shirts are only $15.99 for a limited time. You can take that down another 10% with a Busted Tees coupon.
Etsy houses a plethora of awesome t-shirts, it just sometimes takes awhile to wade through the muck. I was bored last night, so I went through 47 pages of their t-shirts (I only did t-shirts tagged “text”). It took me a decent amount of time, but I did come across this gem, as well as a few others. I’m loving the picture they chose, as well as the pun. Pick it up for $19 + $4.60 shipping at Etsy.
Vintage Vantage was kind enough to send me three of their awesome shirts to check out. Just like my earlier review, I was again blown away by the awesomeness of the shirts. Here are some some shots of the shirts I snagged:
Probably my favorite text tee ever. I think the line is genius.
Who needs drugs when you have yourself?
This shirt made me lol. On the front is the tiger, and on the back (not pictured) it has the text, “I’m Right Behind You”. Of course, if someone is reading the text on the back of your shirt, theres no way you could be behind them.
As usual, the shirts are incredibly soft. I wish I knew where they got their Vintagesoft fabric, so I could buy it in bulk, and maybe use it as sheets on my bed. The prints are super soft too, you won’t even notice they’re there.
They’ve also released a new site, complete with a blog. They appear to be adding new shirts at a more rapid pace than before, and every week they’re discounting one of their shirts down to $12.50 (you get to vote to decide which one). All of these things are awesome things, I think they’re a great company and will continue to grow.
I just wish they would stop having sales on their blanks (not actually), they’re taking all my money. Check out their blanks section to pick up super Vintagesoft ringers for $2.50 and hoodies for $20.
So, check out Vintage Vantage and buy some shirts, you won’t regret it. I’d venture to say they’re my favorite company out there right now. I even set up a special Vintage Vantage coupon page to house up-to-date coupons for them. Right now you can save 21%.
I was looking around Bigcartel for new tees when I came across this one. I think it’s a sweet design, but I especially like the motivation the artist had for creating the shirt. Here’s the background in his own words:
I was asking my friends one day what I should design next, and a couple of my friends suggested I draw some red and yellow elephants.
I don’t think this what they had in mind, but I couldn’t think of a better way to make a bad ass bull elephant then to make it look like it was angry, red and big.
Design by Humans just announced their 10K contest winner, and it turned out to be the very tee that I voted for. I love this design, and I’m glad it got the recognition it deserves. It’s just an awesome design, I wish I could buy it in a print and a shirt.
It’s available in white, black, and asphalt. Personally, the white is my favorite. But, I wanna hear from you, so leave me a comment with your favorite color, and in a week I’ll randomly give away one of the shirts. I’ll pay for it and have it shipped directly to you.
I believe these are printed on their new Fabric tees too, which are awesome. Leave me a comment and win this shirt!
Hey Everyone! After an extended hiatus of more than 9 months, we are back with new T-shirts, a new blog, and new HTML email, yay. We’ve printed smaller amounts than normal, so get the shirts you want before they sell out. (Holding a shirt in your cart does not let you reserve a shirt).
I was sad when I noticed that Oddica seemed to be fading away. Then I saw their sale a few weeks ago, and finally got this email today, and I was glad (sad-glad, that’s a horrible saying, I know). They’ve printed the four shirts above, which are all awesome, as well as adding some other new stuff. Check it out at Oddica.
Introducing the beastliest cat of all time.
410 BC just recently came out with an entire new line, including this super sweet Sabertooth shirt. I’m not a huge fan of the branding, but I don’t think it’s excessive in this shirt. Still, that would be my only gripe if someone asked me about it.
It’s on backorder for now, but you can still go ahead and buy it at 410 BC for $28.
Violent Elegance has some pretty sweet shirts, especially if you’re into geometry. As you can see, the designs are simple (circles, triangles and squares). But simple isn’t bad, they look really cool. It’s the fade that makes the shirts. They have some colorful versions, but I think the white and black is definitely the best looking.
