Welcome to the Future has two great designs over at their Big Cartel store. I wish they would put up some actual product pictures though so we could see how the designs looked in real life. Still, both designs gave me a chuckle. Check ’em out at the WTTF store. The designs are really cheap – only $10 printed on American Apparel.
Dear T-Shirt Project, this shirt is awesome. Thank you for making it.
If you can’t see, the words read “If the pen is mightier than the sword…then words on a shirt are killer!”.
I just wish they would print it on more shirts/sizes. Right now stock is very, very limited and I think you can only get it on a polo. You can check out the various sizes/colors at their Etsy shop.
Gino from Color Overload just emailed me about his new ebook, Fuel for Design. From the man himself, “Fuel for Design is a complete guide on how to start a clothing line and is packed full of the latest t-shirt business and marketing tips.”
I usually get a couple emails a month asking me for tips on selling shirts, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t really have any experience myself, so I can never answer that question. Now I can just point this question to Gino’s book. I’m sure he knows what he’s talking about, given that he’s behind an awesome set of shirts over at Color Overload.
So, if you’re looking to learn how to start a clothing line, don’t email me, just read about it from the man himself.
I’m a definite fan of this Obama victory celebration shirt. In my opinion, it’s an awesome design whether you supported Barack or not. I’ll let Josh describe it in his own words from the email:
The shirt is at Barack the Vote and it’s the only thing we’re doing on the site — just one shirt. It’s simple, but memorable, recasting the iconic Barack Obama “O” logo into the popular Internet acronym “OMG” The shirt has a double meaning. On one hand, it captures the celebration and jubilation millions of people felt across the world when Obama was declared the winner on Tuesday night. And on the other hand, it alludes to the youthful energy that the Obama campaign created via its groundbreaking use of the Internet as an organizational tool.
I’m lovin’ the eyes on the stereo, as well as the paint splatter. Music is a big part of my life (listening to Vampire Weekend right now), so I can understand the sentiment. As they say, “Plug it in and Turn it up!”.
You can buy this one from Glamour Kills for $24.99. They’ve got a great line in general, check ’em all out.
Glarkware is holding a “Winter-ish” sale. What does that mean for you? Everything Glarkware has is on sale at varying levels. You can snag some awesome shirts for as low as $5 (or a few at $2), or as high as $15, as well as hoodies for $20. They’ve got some awesome shirts even in their lower sale brackets. I definitely recommend everyone look through their stuff.
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is one of my favorite movies. The plot centers around Ray Finkle, a former Miami Dolphins kicker, who undergoes a sex change and becomes a female detective in order to get revenge against Dan Marino and the Dolphins. If you haven’t seen the film, I definitely recommend you check out. Jim Carrey is quite hilarious in it.
This is one of the better Star Wars shirts I’ve seen out there, as well as a very true statement. I definitely wouldn’t mess with Vader. You can pick it up on a variety of shirts and colors over at The Tee Party.
