There are so many awesome things going on in this shirt (most of which are directly referenced in the very apt title). I’ve never been to Portland, but it seems pretty spot on from what I’ve heard. Headbands, big hairy beards, and fixed gear bikes are where it’s at.

Anyway, this shirt from Threadless’ Artist Shoppe made me laugh uproariously, and is pretty damn witty to add to that. You can pick it up for $22.00. I just wish I could use my STPs on it.

P.S. I hope no one thinks I’m insulting Portland. I really want to visit there as soon as possible. And Seattle. I wouldn’t mind adding San Francisco and Berkeley to that list too, actually.

I haven’t posted about an individual Threadless shirt in a long time, but boy oh boy did this shirt make me want to change that. I like everything about it, from the crazy awesome drawing style, to the yellow t-shirt, to the minimal use of white for just the sun, clouds, smoke and wagon covers. It looks awesome.

Both characters are pretty cool looking, but I think I’m pulling for the bad guy on the back of the shirt. It’s all about the hat/cape looking coat combo.

Earth Day Sale at Threadless

All this week, every nature shirt at Threadless is on sale for $12 in honor of the upcoming Earth Day. However, that’s not what’s really cool. What’s really cool is that for every order (no matter if it’s nature themed or not) they’re giving $1 to the Plant a Billion Trees cause (pretty self explanatory there). Get some cool shirts on the cheap, and plant some trees. That’s important, because trees are awesome. They give us oxygen, look pretty, and can be climbed–pretty cool.

I just watched Batman Begins today (which technically doesn’t have the Joker, but who cares), so when Threadless released this shirt I felt an urge to post it. It’s pretty damn creepy, but in a good way.

Just popping in quick today to post about a recent Threadless Select shirt I’ve been ogling. I think the color mix looks great. They all work well together and none of them really pop out alone. Also, the strange dimensions (oversized head) give it an interesting look. I’m debating adding this one to my collection–which is kind of big, because I haven’t bought a Threadless shirt in a long, long time.

I like this one from Threadless. It’s creative, and kind of true. I think the designer did a really good job illustrating the shark as well. I also like that Threadless is back to printing on a lot of American Apparel blanks. They’re comfy.

I’ve also got a Threadless coupon site that I’m trying to revive. We’ll see how that goes.

Monsters in my Cortex from Threadless

I’m sad that I missed this, because it’s sold out now. I really like the simple style though, and I think everyone gets the feelings of monsters in the cortex every once in awhile.

Do they ever reprint Threadless Selects? I forget their policy on that. I feel like they don’t, which sucks, because I would like to purchase this shirt. Oh well, live and learn. We can all just look at the pretty picture and envision actually owning the shirt.
