The live performance of The Nightman Cometh was one of the best productions I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing on a DVD special feature section. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is a hilarious show. I also live in Philadelphia, and the past two days it’s been raining the entire day, illustrating the irony of the title.
I like the design of the shirt–it looks like it could be promoting a real musical to someone who didn’t get the reference, and that’s a humorous deception.
You can buy the shirt from 80′s Tees. It’s also currently on sale for only $9.99, which is a great price (only half of the original $20). Check out some Youtube hilarity of the performance below. We’ve also got some 80s Tees coupon action floating around, which will lower the price even further.
If you regularly read my blog (which is awesome!), you know I love Arrested Development, and the many shirts that deal with Arrest Development. I want to do a huge list of all the great AD shirts, but until then, here’s two more awesome ones to fill the void.
First, we have Gene Parmesan: Private Eye, from Powerup Apparel (who made that awesome Chareth Cutestory shirt I linked to above). Gene Parmesan is perhaps the greatest private eye ever, and you can support his business with this shirt. It’s funny. Pick it up for $22 at Powerup Apparel.
The next one is from Busted Tees, an omnipresent player in the funny TV/movie shirt genre. It features the upcoming corporation of Gobias Industries, a partnership between Gob, the magician, and Tobias, the world’s first analrapist. I love the episode this shirt is based on, and I love this shirt too. You can pick it up for $20 at Busted Tees. We’ve also got Busted Tees coupons for you to save some of your precious money.
If anyone knows of more quality Arrested Development shirts, let me know so I can feature them in that big post I’m writing. Danke!
So I suppose this is a somewhat random shirt to post, but…I love David Attenborough, so I hope you’ll indulge me. While you may not see Mr. Attenborough that much (or know his face at all), you’ve probably heard his voice if you’ve ever watched a nature program. This is because he has one of the best narrating voices ever. It rocks. Seriously, he’s on the same level as Morgan Freeman narrations.
So yeah, indulge my fandom of David Attenborough, and check out this cool shirt from Grizzly Nights.
In honor of the Lost premiere, and my roommate (who loves Lost), here are six shirts (for six seasons of Lost!)* in no specific order. Enjoy, and watch Lost on February 2nd if you’re so inclined.
Desmond is my Constant from Busted Tees
Dharma Initiative Logo from ABC
Drive Shaft shirt from Busted Tees. Does anyone else wonder how Drive Shaft got even close to popularity? I certainly do.
Oceanic Airlines shirt from Wear Power. Also known as, “the airline you never want to fly with, because it gets you lost on a random island with people that like to kill you”.
I wanna get lost with Sawyer shirt found here. You can pick any lost character to get lost with, I just chose Sawyer because he’s BA.
Lost Numbers found here. Never play the lottery with the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42.
And finally, to end with another Busted Tees shirt which works as a good conclusion…
Found from Busted Tees.
I hope you enjoyed the list, and that everyone who watches Lost enjoys the premiere and entire final season. I confess I’m not a huge fan–I got midway through season 2 before I quit–but it’s still amazing how much of a phenomenon the show has become.
*I updated it to seven shirts after publishing the post. However, there are not seven seasons of Lost. So instead of ruining my connection to the number of seasons, I just made this footnote.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is my current favorite TV show. It could never usurp Arrested Development as my favorite show ever, but it ain’t far behind. The show is essentially about a group of five Philadelphians (including Danny DeVito), who are incredibly self-centered and just horrible people in general, having various adventures. Hilarity ensues. If you’re easily offended you probably won’t like the show. If you have a sense of humor, and actually understand that when the characters are being insensitive to various groups they’re not supporting insensitivity (in fact, they’re doing quite the opposite), then you’ll probably love the show.
As for the shirt, I think it’s pretty self-explanatory. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
I’ve seen two episodes of Jersey Shore and, as much as I hate to admit it, it is a fun show to watch (occasionally). My friends and I turned it on during half-time of the National Championship (which was kind of boring because of the lack of Colt McCoy anyway) and just basked in how ridiculous it is. The stuff that goes on is just…yeah, ridiculous.
I’m surprised it took this long for a Jersey Shore shirt to come out–this is the first one that I’ve seen. It’s basically an explanation on how to dance correctly from the experienced Jersey Shore cast (I think I’m right). You have to beat up the beat and fist pump to really be doing it right. There’s a video to follow explaining it in more detail. But, before that, check out this shirt at none other than Busted Tees. It costs $16 on pre-sale pricing.
Also, Michael Cera as a guido? Hilarious. Completely unrelated to Michael Cera, save 10% at Busted Tees with a coupon.
