Sleepy Dan has been emailing me for awhile about their shirts, so it’s about damn time I get around to posting something from them. They have a good number of shirts, but this homage to the classic Nintendo character, Bowser, is definitely my favorite. I love how they did the design and captured the 8-bit feel. Apparently more characters will be coming in the future, so I look forward to seeing those.
If you’re a big Nintendo/Bowser fan, you purchase this tribute for $26.00 from the Sleepy Dan store. All of Sleepy Dan’s shirts are limited edition runs, so once this bad boy sells out it’s gone forever. So basically, if you like it, buy it now. Also, if you want another cool Nintendo tee, check out this sweet Retired Mario t-shirt from 604 Republic that I posted about months ago.
Design by Humans is still pumping out cool designs, so I’m going to keep pumping out blog posts on said cool designs from Design by Humans. Today’s t-shirt is called Hardcore Panda. This shirt is similar to a popular Threadless design, but, like the title suggests, is much more hardcore. This design is so hardcore that it combines a panda with a skull and crossbones. That’s super hardcore.
Right on the heels of Threadless’ 25% off coupon comes a very brief $10 tee sale! For 24 hours only, all t-shirts at Threadless will only cost you ten bones. Yup, $10 or less for every shirt at Threadless. That’s a flippin’ sweet deal, but as I said, you only have 24 hours to take advantage of it. No codes or anything, just head over to Threadless and start saving right away.
This eye-bending perception trick is pretty popular, but as usual, Ugmonk made this shirt awesome by doing the design cleanly and choosing the perfect colors. It’s a very simple design, but Ugmonk gets the weighting of the borders and everything else perfect. I also love the white lines on the mint shirt (I think that’s the proper color nomenclature). So yeah, this is just another clean, simple, and awesome design from Ugmonk.
You can purchase Perception for $24.00 from the Ugmonk store. They print on American Apparel blanks, and as I mentioned, I believe the color of the blank is “mint”.
DoomCMYK, an artist who I think I’ve featured before (not entirely sure, though), has this awesome design called Hyrulogic. Hyrulogic is a mix between Zelda and Daft Punk, which pretty much guarantees that it’s going to be an awesome t-shirt. I’m not sure if there’s a connection beyond both subjects being super cool, but either way, I dig this design. Very nice job on the shirt.
David Seibei tweeted about his friend’s store, lulinternet, which turned me on to this awesome, 8-bit rainbow of pizza. I suppose those adjectives sound a little weird when put together like that, but this shirt is so goofy and awesome I had to share. You won’t find shirts like this anywhere else.
If you’d like a pizza rainbow on your chest, you can purchase the shirt for only $14.95 at the lulinternet store. They print on Tultex tees, and this design is currently on pre-order and will ship in late April or May.
I featured one of Why Because’s t-shirts a few months ago, so, after receiving an email from their founder Brett, I thought I would do a little checkback and let you all know of two developments over at the store. First, Why Because has moved their shop to Storenvy, which is a great platform and offers a nice shopping experience. Secondly, Why Because is currently having a 30% off Spring Sale. All you have to do is use the code “SPRUNG” to get the discount. Why Because sells funny pun t-shirts, and is pretty good at what they do.
Today’s Teefury shirt fits perfectly with my latest obsession for Walking Dead t-shirts. The design is called “The Walking Red” and somehow manages to mash-up Star Trek with The Walking Dead. The design is pretty creative, so kudos to midgerock (the designer).
Like all Teefury designs, this t-shirt is only for sale for a mere 24 hours and only costs $10. That basically means you’re spending very little money for a shirt you probably won’t see many other people wearing–you’ll be unique as a snowflake. You can purchase the design from the Teefury store, and remember you only have until midnight to pick it up.
