I’ve really dropped the ball on posts…sorry. But, I think this is pretty cool, maybe it can help make up for it?
For the next month, you can get 30% off at Owl Movement by using the code “owlmerch30“. As you may have noticed, Owl Movement has been on my favorite t-shirt companies list since the beginning. This is because they have awesome shirts and an awesome style. They haven’t released any new series for a while, but I hope that changes.
Go buy some shirts for 30% off at their store.
I haven’t posted about an individual Threadless shirt in a long time, but boy oh boy did this shirt make me want to change that. I like everything about it, from the crazy awesome drawing style, to the yellow t-shirt, to the minimal use of white for just the sun, clouds, smoke and wagon covers. It looks awesome.
Both characters are pretty cool looking, but I think I’m pulling for the bad guy on the back of the shirt. It’s all about the hat/cape looking coat combo.
This shirt is goofy as hell and I love it. I think there’s a real reason why evolution didn’t give cats 8 legs–it would look ridiculous. So yeah, I love this shirt from bluchez, and I love punny stuff.
Grab it starting around $18 at MySoti. You can customize the colors and choose the blank it’s printed on. Also, this is unrelated, but MySoti is now offering custom designed lamp shades, which is totally badass.
First, sorry for the lack of posts. Classes are ending/it’s final time so I’ve been a little swamped. Anyway…
I just got an email about the new Go Ape Shirts design, Vintage Pretension, and I’m diggin’ it. Not only is the text witty and very, very true, but the design is pretty snazzy itself. I’d go as far as to say the design is perfect for the text/concept involved. It’s very vintagy and the guy has some real steeze going on.
I can picture the conversation going on between the two of the, and that, that is a beautiful thing. I wonder what classical artist he’s going to talk about once he gets done educating the kid on Proust.
You can pick this one up for $18.00 at Go Ape Shirts.
There’s a lot of big Goodie Two Sleeves news in this post, which has been superbly summarized by the above image. First, Goodie Two Sleeves has released 32 new shirts. That’s a pretty huge release, so go check em out. I guarantee you’ll find something. Along with the new shirts, they also are offering the coupon code “WINANANO” which will get you 25% off your entire order. Lastly, every order placed between now and May 14th will be entered in a contest to win an iPod Nano (see the connection with the coupon code?).
So yeah, a lot of cool Goodie Two Sleeves stuff is going on. Go check it out at their store. You can also check our official Goodie Two Sleeves coupon page for discounts, which I will do my best to keep updated.
Local Celebrity rarely has sales, so them announcing a coupon good for 10% off their entire store for today only is fairly big/cool. I also liked the new shirt they released today (it’s witty), so there’s kind of a two part reason for this post.
Beautiful/Decay, who I love but haven’t posted about in awhile, have just launched their Spring 2010 line! I’m really happy about this–part of the reason I hadn’t posted in awhile was because I hadn’t heard from them in an equally long while. That changed today. I really like the Spring 2010 Line. There are just so many gems in there. I’ve picked five of my favorites (read more to see them all), but I could have easily picked so many more.
All this week, every nature shirt at Threadless is on sale for $12 in honor of the upcoming Earth Day. However, that’s not what’s really cool. What’s really cool is that for every order (no matter if it’s nature themed or not) they’re giving $1 to the Plant a Billion Trees cause (pretty self explanatory there). Get some cool shirts on the cheap, and plant some trees. That’s important, because trees are awesome. They give us oxygen, look pretty, and can be climbed–pretty cool.
F. Scott Fitzgerald is one my top three favorite authors (and as I think about it now, maybe even my favorite…est). I recently got a huge book of his short stories which has only cemented my love for him even more. I’m only about halfway through, but the insight he has into humans and relationships and life in general is just astounding. I connect with his stories so much, and I believe that is what truly makes great literature.
A lot of the short stories in the huge anthology I bought come from Tales of the Jazz Age (which includes The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), so this shirt is very applicable for me right now. I also just think the design looks vintage and cool, and I really like the concept behind Out of Print Clothing, so I’m happy to support them.
You can pick this one up for $28.00 at Out of Print Clothing. Also, for each shirt they sell, Out of Print Clothing will donate one book to communities in Africa through their partner, Books for Africa. That’s awesome.
I apologize for posting two shirts from T-Shirt Hell (the TorsoPants section! Not the main one) in a row–that’s lame and makes me look like an affiliate pusher (which I never do). But… I looked down at my computer clock and saw the date read 4/20. Then I was searching around all of TorsoPants shirts, and I saw this awesome roman numerals 4/20 shirt. Put those two together, and you get this post.
I’m just on a roll. Yesterday, I posted the Dogfish Head shirt, and today I’m posting a very applicable 420 shirt. I hope people don’t get the wrong impression. I mean, geez, I didn’t even think about how 4/20 was coming up/arrived until 10 minutes ago.
