Throwdown from Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction

Show off your literary knowledge and slick sense of humor at the same time with this tee from Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. Whoever came up with this design is a genius, and gets an internet slap on the back from me. I’m quoting their product description because it gave me some lulz:

Celebrate the joys of civil disobedience without all those pesky anarchy symbols and itchy ski-masks. Go ahead – stick it to The Powers That Be, minus those shattered windows and molotov cocktails.

This one will run you $36, which is kind of expensive, but definitely worth it.

Vendetta from Teextile

teextile - today only
Just a short post, because I just wrote about these guys yesterday, but I really like today’s design as well. It’s $12 today, then $15 for the rest of the week, then gone forever. UseĀ  for troundup free shipping or click on any of these links.

Inner Gears from Teextile

teextile - today only

Teextile is quickly moving up on my “list of t-shirt companies I should check often”. There’s certainly the motivation that each design is only for sale for 1 day (although it appears now you can buy each shirt for a week? Maybe, we’ll see), but it’s also because their designs are pretty dang good–like today’s, Inner Gears, which I might end up buying. I love the style on this, as well as the concept.

This one will run you $12 at Teextile, and might be on sale for today only, or maybe for all of this week–either way, don’t wait around. You can also use code troundup (or click on any of the links in this post) for free shipping. They print on American Apparel, so that’s a pretty sick deal.

More Gore from randr

This shirt is an awesome play on words, combined with awesome design execution–so it’s pretty much win. The artist is Collision Theory, who’s work is always top-notch. I just wish there was a bit of a story behind this design, because it seems like there should be. Maybe you could hook us up with that randr?

This will run you $13.99 (on sale right now) at randr on an American Apparel tee.

You Are What You Eat from Doubletake Clothing

I wrote about Doubletake Clothing’s first shirt a bit over a month ago, and now they’re back with the release of their second design. Again, they’ve come up with a genuinely funny shirt, although this time it’s somewhat more general (you don’t have to be an avid The Office fan to understand it). If you can’t see it, the text reads, “You are what you eat, that’s why I only eat dinosaurs”. Witty, unique and funny–it’s good stuff. It’ll run you $20 at Doubletake Clothing.

PS. The product pictures are great too.

The Art of Letting Go from A Better Tomorrow

The latest winner over at A Better Tomorrow is pretty snazzy. Both the colors used and the design (scroll down for an explanation) are great. It’s printed on American Apparel and will run you 18 Euros at the very German, A Better Tomorrow.

Now the explanation behind the design, which, thankfully, is in english:

This was inspired by the song of Mikaela…which deliberately tackles the ways on how to let go and move on. Its like flapping and throwing up ur wings widely so u can fly high and be free from everything.

For one week, Threadless has slashed the prices on tons of stuff, with tees from just $5. This means that for you, t-shirt fans, things are pretty awesome. I just wish Threadless hadn’t made their shipping charges so high.
