I’m sad to say that it appears that on December 23rd the joy that is TorsoPants will be gone from this world forever. So that means, if you wanna pick up any of their random, but very funny, shirts, you should do it soon.
It is with great sadness that I announce, at the urging of Bilderberg, that I am closing the doors at TorsoPants.com at midnight December 23rd, 2008. I cannot get into complete details, but my higher masters have told me that my mission will be changing over the next few months and this is the first step in a series of movements I will make in my life to fulfill the prophecy that is Sunshine Megatron.
Torsopants.com was a very personal project for me and I am proud of what we accomplished and of the product we brought to the masses. I can only pray that those who remain asleep will wake up by the end of 2009 (the 11 year) , but cannot explain this any further and only wish the best for all of your human race.
So, the 2 new Torsopants this week will be our last new designs and as mentioned above, December 23rd, 2008 will be the final day in the life of our experiment. Feel free to buy something before it’s done.
Love to all that deserve it.

Crows Nest from Torso Clothing
Published in Printed on American Apparel T-Shirts.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could just harness up some crows and go flying? I think so. It’s $35 over at Torso Clothing.
A ‘murder’ of crows is based on the folk tale that crows form tribunals to judge, punish and kill the badly behaving members of the flock. This is completely untrue. However, murder is irresistible when paired with the best-looking T-shirt available (American Apparel).
Obama Victory Shirt from Barack the Vote

I’m a definite fan of this Obama victory celebration shirt. In my opinion, it’s an awesome design whether you supported Barack or not. I’ll let Josh describe it in his own words from the email:
The shirt is at Barack the Vote and it’s the only thing we’re doing on the site — just one shirt. It’s simple, but memorable, recasting the iconic Barack Obama “O” logo into the popular Internet acronym “OMG” The shirt has a double meaning. On one hand, it captures the celebration and jubilation millions of people felt across the world when Obama was declared the winner on Tuesday night. And on the other hand, it alludes to the youthful energy that the Obama campaign created via its groundbreaking use of the Internet as an organizational tool.
Turn Up the Stereo from Glamour Kills

I’m lovin’ the eyes on the stereo, as well as the paint splatter. Music is a big part of my life (listening to Vampire Weekend right now), so I can understand the sentiment. As they say, “Plug it in and Turn it up!”.
You can buy this one from Glamour Kills for $24.99. They’ve got a great line in general, check ‘em all out.
Lion from Kowtow Clothing

Kowtow has some pretty sweet, albeit also pretty expensive t-shirts. I would be happy wearing any one of their shirts (expect the one with naked people, you can check that one out for yourself, it might draw a little too much attention).
That being said, I’d have to pick Lion as my favorite out of their shirts. Unfortunately, it’ll run you $52.50. But it’s still a damn cool shirt, isn’t it?
Kowtow is run by a bunch of artistic and creative folk who are dedicated to making people look great and leaving their conscience free from worries!
Every single Kowtow garment is designed and tailored with comfort and longevity in mind.

Go Vintage with Teecycle

I just got an email about a new blog called Teecycle, and I must say it’s a pretty cool concept. Basically, they just post up used shirts along with a link where you can buy it for $7 + $3 shipping. $1 of that cost goes toward the River Revitalization Foundation, and you get a cool vintage shirt for cheap.

I was browsing around Etsy looking for t-shirts when I came across this gem from 1AEON. This is the kind of stuff you can only find on Etsy, you won’t really see this mass produced. This one is part of a limited edition, small run (it doesn’t say how small, but I’m sure there aren’t alot of them). It costs $30 and is printed on my favorite, American Apparel. You can pick this one up on Etsy.

I’ve had an email from Ghosticorn sitting in my inbox for quite awhile and I’ve just finally gotten around to checking out their shirts. I like what I see – kind of quirky (as you might notice), but I think thats a good thing. They print their shirts on American Apparel. As an added bonus, this shirt also glows in the dark.
Name: Ghosty
T-Shirt Type: American Apparel
Price: $25.00

People definitely love talking about tv shows. I remember the in-depth Lost discussions that would go on for immense amounts of time. Thankfully, not so much anymore (is Lost even on?). Either way, it’s a great design from Uneetee. It’s available in their collection, so it has no time constraints, but it is almost out of stock – meaning you might want to buy it soon if you’re interested.
