Go Ape Shirts is at it again; and by “it”, I mean making really awesome t-shirts. Their latest offering, The Plumber’s Empire, delves into the much-loved world of Mario. The design depicts, in humorous and 8-bit stylized fashion, what Mario’s domain might look like on our very own planet Earth. I love both the concept and the execution–well done Go Ape Shirts! It’s also cool to check out where your home would lie on Mario’s map.
You can pick up this design for the fair price of $20.00 at the Go Ape Shirts store. It’s printed on American Apparel. Also, I apologize if this post is not written very good (sic). I know rambling abounds, and a few cliches decided to come along for the ride. However, I’m feeling fairly crappy right now, so the most elequent words are, perhaps, not flowing from my head that well. I’ll be back tomorrow with a vengeance, though!
Greendale Human Beings T-Shirt from Snorg Tees, Community

I posted a Community t-shirt back in May, and I thought that I would continue that trend since I really do like the show. The cleverness of the writing sometimes reminds me of Arrested Development (which I’ve been on a little kick of lately).
I came across this specific design while browsing around Snorg Tees. It features Greendale Community College’s incredibly outrageous attempt at eliminating the concept of race. The mascot stems from the Dean’s overwhelming desire to be 100% politically correct, but that’s a story you’ll have to get from the show. Anyway, I think it’s a good interpretation of what a Greendale Human Beings t-shirt might look like. As far as I know, this isn’t directly licensed, so I think Snorg Tees came up with it themselves. I enjoyed it, though if you don’t watch the show you’ve probably already stopped reading by now out of boredom.
You can pick this t-shirt up and support the Human Beings by going to Snorg Tees’ store. It will cost you $19.95 and is printed on those sweet American Apparel blanks I love so much. I’ve also got a Snorg Tees coupon page, although I think the most recent code has since become inactive. Talk with me in the comments about how much you love Community–I get bored with just having conversations in my head.
#Abiding, A Big Lebowski T-Shirt from Cowbell Tees

I’ve posted a few other Big Lebowski t-shirts because I love the movie. I’m now happy to add this one to that list, because it is quite, quite funny. If you’re familiar with the movie, you know that one of the most well-known/repeated phrases is “The Dude Abides“. Therefore, it is quite possible that were The Dude to tweet, he would end many of them with the hashtag #Abiding. That is why this shirt is funny. It’s something that typically only fans of the movie will get, and I think that is one of the characteristics that makes a great movie t-shirt.
If you’re #abiding as well, you can pick up this design for $20CDN (Canadian Dollars? What?!?!??!) from Cowbell Tees. It’s printed on Alstyle 1301 t-shirts.
Retold with Unicorns T-Shirt from Threadless + Unicef Donations

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted an actual t-shirt from Threadless, but this one was just so quirkily hilarious that I had to post it. This shirt, entitled Retold with Unicorns, quite obviously features two unicorns fighting out the Star Wars storyline with horn-lightsabers. I am unsure where the inspiration for this t-shirt came from, but I will say that I am glad RicoMambo and Threadless were able to get this printed. It’s just straight up ridiculous (in a good way). Also, if you look at the design in detail, the Darth Vader styling on the black unicorn is hilarious.
If you also find this shirt oddly enticing, you can pick it up for only $15.00 from Threadless. We’ve also got a Threadless coupon page, although I don’t think any of them are active at the time of this posting. Furthermore, Threadless is currently running a promotion where, if you rate 100 designs, they will donate $1.00 to Unicef. So basically, you can go check out awesome, potential Threadless designs, and also help out people in need. That’s a winning combination right there. Go score some designs–100 doesn’t really take that long at all.

Bluth Family Crest Shirt from 604 Republic–Arrested Development

If you’ve read my blog for a decent amount of time, you probably know that I am a huge Arrested Development fan. As such, when a t-shirt company that I already really like makes an Arrested Development shirt, I, well, get a little giddy. This shirt, Bluth Family Crest, from 604 Republic caused such giddiness in me.
This shirt is just a treasure trove of little references that Arrested Development fans will love. The chicken, the bananas, the hook, and so much more are all there. It’s just a great shirt, and it does Arrested Development, one of the best written (and just best) TV shows, justice.
If you love Arrested Development as much as I do, you can pick this shirt up from 604 Republic. It will cost you $19.95. We’ve also got an exclusive 604 Republic coupon which should give you 15% off.
P.S. Cross your fingers and pray that the Arrested Development movie really does happen, and, more importantly, that it maintains the incredible quality of the show.
Why so Serious? Panda T-Shirt from Lola Camisetas

This new release from Lola Camisetas elicited a slight chuckle from me upon my opening of the email. It is a very alternative take on the Batman series’ Joker. I have to say though, this panda isn’t quite as scary. He’s like the goofy version of the Joker. Am I wrong to naturally associate goofiness with pandas? That’s just how I view them.
Anyway, I like this shirt. It’s quirky and goofy–two qualities I find attractive in t-shirts. You can pick it up on sale for 13.95 Euros from the Lola Camisetas store. I think the discounted price is only good for the next week.
Yellow Lab Hangover 2 T-Shirt

So…I just saw Hangover 2 last night. I thought it was pretty dang funny, especially the first half. I don’t think it’s quite as good as the first one–but still, very funny. I appreciate how they were brash and unabashed about the sequel following the exact same format as the first Hangover. This early acceptance allowed me to just sit back and enjoy the show. It’s the same formula, but it’s a good formula, and it’s funny, so I’m a fan.
When watching the movie, my friends and I immediately laughed when we saw Allen’s (Zach Galifianakis’) t-shirt. You can imagine how happy I was to get home, check my email, and see that someone was already selling Allen’s t-shirt. It’s just a ridiculous shirt, especially when worn by Zach (see above). These are one of my favorite type of movie shirts–shirts that aren’t just a logo, but rather come directly from the movie.
To sum up–The Hangover 2 was funny. Allen’s shirt from the Hangover 2 was also funny. This, entitled Yellow Lab, is that shirt. You can pick this shirt up for $18.99 at Crazy Dog T-Shirts. We also have an exclusive Crazy Dog T-Shirts coupon that will get you $5.00 off your order, making this bad boy only $13.99. I would recommend using that if you like saving money.
If you’re feeling talkative, let me know your thoughts on The Hangover 2 in the handy dandy comments below. If you haven’t seen it, I think it’s definitely worth the $8/2 hours required to check it out.
I Survived Judgment Day T-Shirt from Print Liberation

Welcome to the Rapture everyone (sic)! We still have a little bit of time for Internet browsing before things begin, so I thought I would share this shirt with you. It’s a pretty funny shirt. This shirt comes from Print Liberation, who are the same people who made that awesome I Survived the Bush Administration t-shirt. Well, I think the Rapture is a little more dangerous than the Bush administration (a little…). Thus, this shirt is instantly more hardcore. Also, the fact that God is reaching down like some giant, spiritual claw machine game is hilarious. I think a giant hand reaching down is actually the scientific community’s conclusion of what the Rapture will look like (wait…that doesn’t make sense, does it?). As usual with Print Liberation, the font is also cooool.
If us non-believers haven’t been thrust into our fiery hell by tomorrow, then you should pick up this shirt. Show the world that you survived the Rapture, and that you’re damn proud of it. I Survived Judgment Day is printed on American Apparel and costs $18.00 over at Print Liberation. This is one of my favorite shirts in a long time, and I will definitely be buying it. Since I’m in Philadelphia, I can even go directly to the Print Liberation store and pick it up and tell them how much they rock for making this shirt.
Enjoy your non-hell life while you still have it!
Bring the Bacon Shirt from Olan Rogers

Today’s shirt is relevant to my day, as I ate a ton of bacon today (which was awesome). This shirt is definitely simple, but, I think that’s a good thing. You don’t need to add anything to bacon to make it cool. Needless to say, I dig this shirt, and “bring the bacon” might just become my motto for the summer.
You can pick this design up in either of the two colors pictured for $17.99 from Olan Rogers’ store. He’s got some other designs which are also cool and worth checking out if you’ve got some time on your hands.
Starburns, a Community TV T-Shirt from NBC

Community has quickly become one of my favorite TV shows (of both cancelled and active shows), so I had to post this shirt. I actually first saw this shirt on a Community writer in a behind-the-scenes clip, which caused me to instantly look it up. Starburns is a character from the show who has trimmed his sideburns to look like, well, stars. This shirt probably isn’t at all funny if you’re not familiar with the show, but…if you are a fan of the show, I hope you enjoy it. Also, if you’re not already a fan of the show, you should watch a few episodes, get hooked, and become a fan. Then you can enjoy this shirt. Their most recent episode, a paintball spaghetti western, is off the chain hilarious. You probably need to be familiar with the characters to get its full effect, though.
If you wanna pick up this Starburns shirt, you can nab it for $25.00 from the NBC Store. Show ya luv for Community!
