Kid Cudi Portrait Shirt from The Cooler Collective

Kid Cudi is the bomb diggity…at least when he was rapping. I’m not sure how I feel about his newly announced decision to move into the rock genre and forsake his awesome, awesome rap roots, but I guess we’ll see how it goes. If you didn’t know who Kid Cudi was before reading this post, I recommend you check him out, because he’s got a pretty solid body of work. I’ll post a video of one of his songs below to facilitate the aforementioned delving into the musical world of Cudi.

I also love this shirt. It’s just a great portrait. I love how the black looks on the blue and how much Cudi’s glasses pop out. I’m not sure if Cudi is anywhere near the recognizability required for a majority of people to know who’s on the shirt, but I kind of like that. It gives the shirt a bit of mystery, and “Who’s that on your shirt?” is one of the best ways to start a conversation with new and unknown people

You can pick this one up for $21.00 at The Cooler Collective, who have some great shirts. I’m not entirely sure, but I think they might use American Apparel blanks (at least that’s what the shirt mock-ups lead me to believe).
