Killer Words Shirt from T-shirt Project

Dear T-Shirt Project, this shirt is awesome. Thank you for making it.

If you can’t see, the words read “If the pen is mightier than the sword…then words on a shirt are killer!”.

I just wish they would print it on more shirts/sizes. Right now stock is very, very limited and I think you can only get it on a polo. You can check out the various sizes/colors at their Etsy shop.

Want to Learn How to Start Your Own Clothing Line?

Gino from Color Overload just emailed me about his new ebook, Fuel for Design. From the man himself, “Fuel for Design is a complete guide on how to start a clothing line and is packed full of the latest t-shirt business and marketing tips.”

I usually get  a couple emails a month asking me for tips on selling shirts, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t really have any experience myself, so I can never answer that question. Now I can just point this question to Gino’s book. I’m sure he knows what he’s talking about, given that he’s behind an awesome set of shirts over at Color Overload.

So, if you’re looking to learn how to start a clothing line, don’t email me, just read about it from the man himself.

Busted Tees Voting Shirts by someecard + Sale

Busted Tees just came out with some voting themed shirts by Someecards (they take the old pictures and put the words for those who don’t know). They’re some pretty cool shirts, with the top two above being my favorites. I just wish they had used some color variation, all the gray get’s a little annoying.

Also, they’re having a Recession Special, where all shirts are only $15.99 for a limited time. You can take that down another 10% with a Busted Tees coupon.

30% Off at Ten Bills

Just got an email from Emil at Ten Bills. Until July 14th, you can use coupon code “Summer” at checkout for 30% off your order. When shirts are already priced at only $10, 30% off makes for some uber cheap gear. Check it out, they have some great designs.

Wikipedia is Accurate from Busted Tees

I find myself often getting into debates about the accuracy of Wikipedia. I’m a proponent of its accuracy, at least on the well trafficked and edited articles. It is fairly impossible to vandalize or put untruths into these articles. Unfortunately, I find plenty of people who disagree with me. Luckily, I like arguing, so it works out either way.

This one is on pre-order for only $14.99. You can save even more with a Busted Tees coupon. Maybe you can even find the citation to prove Wikipedia’s accuracy once and for all.

Uber Good Week at Threadless

This week is quite good for Threadless shirts. They reprinted a design that I’ve long wanted, as well as coming out with a great new one.

First, the one I wanted reprinted. Ever since I joined Threadless, I’ve been wishing they would reprint their Ctrl + Z shirt. Today, they did. That makes me happy.

Also this week, they released a new shirt that I really like, being Greek Mixology. The idea for this one is perfect, I just hope people will understand it without seeing the title.

Lastly, I figure I should mention this weeks super limited, super expensive shirt, entitled Decapitated Doomsday. It’s not really my cup of tee, but the concept of a unique (each one is individually dipped in dye), limited Threadless shirt is pretty cool.

1984 T-Shirt from Enclothe

Nobody heard what Big Brother was saying.
It was merely a few words of encouragement, the sort of words that are uttered in the din of battle, not distinguishable individually but restoring confidence by the fact of being spoken.
Then the face of Big Brother faded away again, and instead the three slogans of the Party stood out in bold capitals:
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

Another excellent design from Enclothe. I’d be hard pressed to find one of their shirts I didn’t at least somewhat like – and they print on American Apparel to boot.

Name: 1984
T-Shirt Type: American Apparel
Price: $19.00
Where to Buy: Enclothe
