Through running troundup, I’ve managed to accumulate a large chunk of DBH Dollars. Given that I’m about to head off to college and Lollapalooza (and I just came back from Europe), I could use a little spending cash, so giving them away completely gratis is out of the option. But, I think I have a way where we can both come out ahead. If you’re thinking of buying some Design by Humans shirts, just shoot me an email–I’ll buy the shirts for you, and you just pay me 72% of the retail price + the cost of shipping. Buy 5+ shirts and I’ll pay for your shipping, assuming you’re in the US.
Also, as a little bonus, the first person who emails me will get their stuff for 62% of the retail price for up to two shirts (after that it’s 72% for the rest). The second person to email me will get them for 67% of the retail price, again, just for the first two shirts. I think that’s a pretty hot deal, and hopefully it makes everyone involved happy.
Also, this has come up a few times in the past, but I can’t use coupons when I buy with DBH dollars, so you can’t get the additional 10% or whatever from coupons. Sorry, I wish it were otherwise, because then things would rock ever more.

2008 from Annual Apparel

Annual Apparel, who are getting their long overdue review from me, make shirts that commemorate all the events from a certain year, in this case, 2008. Highlights of the events featured include the election, the mortgage crisis, the Superbowl, the Olympics, Heath Ledger and Batman, and many, many more. As you can see from that, the detail in the shirt is insane. I wish I had a camera that could do the design justice, but all my shots turned out somewhat blurry. You can find some more detailed shots at their site though.
Pick this up on the super soft Alternative Apparel blanks and own a piece of history. While right now they only have a shirt for 2008, they do have ideas for more shirts in the pipeline. You can even vote on which year you want done next.

I’m a big fan of Radiohead, especially after seeing them at Bonnaroo a couple years ago, which made me already inclined to post about this. I also love the style on this shirt, which solidified that inclination. I might be picking this one up–we’ll see.
