I’ve never seen Lost Boys (the movie this shirt comes from), but I still think this shirt is awesome. It’s the truth, too.
You can find it for $21.95 at Found Item Clothing.
What can I say about Monty Python and the Holy Grail other than that it is undoubtedly one of the kings of the comedy world. I feel like 99% of people (or maybe just youth) can quote at least one line from this movie. Whether it be a knight fighting through numerous flesh wounds, or a peasant talking politics, this movie has it all. It’s a classic, and it’s awesome, and I’m going to post a bunch of shirts dealing with it. I hope you enjoy. Here’s today’s installment of Movie Mondays–Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
3) Killer Rabbit from 80s Tees. The picture on the left is the front of the shirt and it reads “It’s just an ordinary rabbit, isn’t it?”. They couldn’t have been further from the truth, as the back of the shirt indicates.
There’s something about this movie…something that made me watch it twice in one weekend. I think a lot of it has to do with Zach Galifianakis; yet there’s some charm that goes further than that. For whatever reason, I love this movie, and laugh prolifically when viewing it. I’m a little late to the game, but I’ve decided to share my favorite t-shirts dealing with The Hangover. Enjoy…and revel at how many of them deal with Zach Galifianakis having a baby strapped to his chest…or a satchel. Also, this is the first post in a weekly series I’m starting called Movie Mondays. So, without further introduction, here are the top The Hangover t-shirts. Enjoy!
Another one from Snorg Tees, and another one involving Mr. Galifianakis. It’s a satchel…Indiana Jones wears one.
I just watched Batman Begins today (which technically doesn’t have the Joker, but who cares), so when Threadless released this shirt I felt an urge to post it. It’s pretty damn creepy, but in a good way.
In other news, spring break starts tomorrow. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
I was stumbling around the web earlier when I came upon this awesome site called Dudeism. Dudeism is essentially a religion/philosophy based upon The Big Lebowski’s Dude, among others. Apparently you can even become ordained as a ministir of Dudeism, which I’m certainly debating doing. I got a kick out of the site, as well as this image/shirt (found on the site), so I thought I would share it with y’all.
The Dude looks damn good as Uncle Sam. You can find this shirt at Dudeism’s Printfection store. Check it out, and remember to always take it easy.
Who doesn’t love a good Star Wars joke, especially one that involves Darth Vader and fatherhood? I think the yellow shirt is an interesting choice, although I’m not sure if it’s interesting in a good way or interesting in a bad way yet. We’ll see…
You can pick this shirt up for $19.00 at Springleap. Check it out.
Another Arrested Development reference because I love Arrested Development. Simple enough, eh? This one might be a little more obscure than the others, but again, is very funny (like the others). If you haven’t taken my recommendation to watch Arrested Development by now you probably will continue on that path, but I really do think you should change (watch it!).
This shirt is printed on American Apparel and can be bought for $25 at Powerup Apparel.
I love this drawing of Chewbacca. It does look like he’s slimmed down a bit though–maybe he’s been eating at Taco Bell (because that lady on TV lost tons of weight by eating at Taco Bell).
You can check this one out at Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. At $34 it’s a little expensive, but Chewy is worth it.
Holy hell–I have to hand it to Headline shirts for making one of the hilariousest (most hilarious for you people that like “grammar” and “actual words”) shirts I’ve seen in a long time. Not only did they make a hilarious shirt, they also wrote a hilarious product description (as usual). I’m gonna go ahead and quote it, because it deserves it:
Jules is trying, Ringo. He’s trying real hard to be the shepherd. But this whole Twitter-lution thing is really getting to him. All this talk of “tweeple” and “twiggits” and “tweekends” is unfamiliar to him. It makes him nervous. And when he gets nervous, he gets scared. And when he gets scared… that’s when mother ‘effers accidentally get shot.
But he’s really twying– Oh, damn, you hear that? Now you made him twalk like a jerk. There it is again! That’s the last straw!
Go ahead, say “tweet” again! He dares you. No, he double dares you — say “tweet” one more time! Because the truth is, you’re the tweak and he’s the twyranny of evil– Argh!!!
Best of luck to you Headline Shirts. You rock, and keep rocking in 2010. Everyone needs to buy the shirt.
Also, for you cave dwellers, here’s the equally awesome Pulp Fiction clip this is based on:
I mutha uckin love Flight of the Conchords (you should have seen that one coming), especially this song and the first season in general. It’s a shame it had to go and get cancelled (that’s right–two l’s mutha uckas), but I suppose it was meant to be. Hopefully Jermaine and Brit (Bret) go on to do greater things.
While this shirt is just a simple text tee, I think it looks really great with the white text on red. Good choice, Nerdy Shirts!
Check out the video below. The song is damn catchy and the episode is awesomely hilarious (so watch the whole thing if you can):
