I had a little unfortunate incident yesterday where someone got into my accounts and managed to steal my domain name and mirror the site on his own servers. Lucky for me, I was able to convince him to give it back, so we’re now back on my servers, and I’ve got control of the domain.

If you noticed anything funky yesterday, or the downtime today, that was caused by the hack. I’m hoping everything is back to normal, but if anyone notices any problems, please let me know. Expect posting to resume tomorrow once my heart rate goes back down.

  1. Whew… Good thing! Lets get some DBH and Fullbleed coupons! We need a t-shirt stimulus! 😉

  2. relieved to hear that it got resolved so quickly!

  3. Sucks that you got hacked, but happy it worked out. Let us know where this guy/girl lives and we’ll take care of it from here…

  4. Aw man, that sucks! I’m glad you got back control. How did convince him?

  5. I’d probably have a full-on freak out if anyone touched my websites, I’m amazing you were able to control yourself to an extent that you could write intelligible sentences.

  6. what does “convincing him to give it back” sound like? does it involve threats or logic?

  7. I actually just asked and he apologized and agreed to give it back–thankfully. But yeah, I was freaking out for awhile, Andy.

  8. Also, I didn’t have to resort to threats, Thomas.
