Threadless prodigy Glenn Jones is still pumping out awesome t-shirts at his shop, Glennz Tees. My most recent favorite is this awesome take on Batman and Penguin, titled Arch Enemies. I think the shirt is pretty self explanatory (though if you need some explanation…try here), and it’s got that usual goofy style that Glenn does so well.
You can buy the shirt for $21.95 at the Glennz store. Glennz Tees is also running a current promotion where, if you buy three or more shirts, you get 25% off…so that’s worth keeping in mind.
The obligatory “I don’t usually like branded t-shirts” disclaimer goes here. But…I really like the simple geometry of this shirt, so I’m willing to make an exception. The design is based on the 7 Hills of Sheffield (I don’t know specifically what importance they hold, but apparently they’re well-known across the pond).
Unfortunately, us Americans have to deal with exchange rates, so the shirt, at 22 Pounds, is a bit pricey.
I used to be pretty obsessed with Shaun of the Dead in high school (and on a tangential note, I think you can find me and my friends’ experimental version of Hot Fuzz 2 on YouTube), so I’m honor bound to post any Shaun of the Dead t-shirt I come across. It’s just an added bonus that it comes from 604 Republic, which is a great t-shirt company.
Here’s a pretty witty Jaws reference on a t-shirt from ShirtPunch, a fairly recently reinvigorated daily t-shirt contest. The shirt is, of course, a play on the oft misquoted “you’re gonna need a bigger boat” line from the movie. I think it’s funny–hopefully you do too.
The shirt is on sale for the next 23 hours only at the ShirtPunch store. You can also get it printed on a variety of clothing pieces that are not t-shirts, though I can’t understand why you would ever want to do that.
This t-shirt, called Ascent, is from Fullbleed’s newest series, Series 13. Like most (all) Fullbleed t-shirts, it’s pretty dang rad (and it continues that moon theme from the Beneath Rejection t-shirt I posted a couple days ago).
You can buy the t-shirt for $19.00 at the Fullbleed store. It’s printed on a Next Level Apparel tri-blend blank. Also, make sure to check out the entirety of Series 13 when you’re over at the store.
Headline Shirts is back at it–taking creative liberties with quotes from famous historical figures like they never stopped. This time, they bring you oddly prescient words from George A. Custer before his famous last stand: “Gotta like these odds.” I love this series of shirts, and Custer’s Last Words is no disappointment. Plus, the man has a sweet mustache, which just adds another layer of cool to the shirt.
Here’s a nifty little t-shirt called Midnight Mind from a Beneath Rejection, a Sydney based company. I like simple designs like these, and who doesn’t enjoy a good night’s sky.
You can buy the t-shirt at the Beneath Rejection store. Unfortunately, it’s a little pricey coming in at $40.00 + shipping (well…maybe more than a little pricey). No one ever said cool t-shirts came cheap though, and it is printed on a comfortable American Apparel blank, so the tee has that going for it.
As with all Ugmonk t-shirts, this design is pretty simple (in a good way). It’s a nice, clean design; and I always love things that mess with your perception. You can buy it for $26.00 at the Ugmonk store, and they also have a version of the shirt printed on a mint colored t-shirt, which looks very cool as well.
