I thought the “Keep Calm and Carry On” apparel trend was popular before, but lately I think the whole thing has been taken to another level and they have been popping up everywhere. Given that, I love unique plays on the “Keep Calm” theme. Splitreason has just created one of those shirts, called “Keep Calm and Fight Zombies”. Using the splattered blood as text is a nice touch that sets it off from lots of other plays on the Keep Calm theme. Most people just use the same font, so the blood really pops out…and yes, I feel kind of weird writing that. It’s a very cool shirt, which again will fit with the Walking Dead t-shirts list I’m working on.
You can purchase this spiffy zombie t-shirt for $19.95 over at Splitreason. The coupon code “FIREBALL” should get you 10% off for a limited time to make the deal a little sweeter. Also, if you need helping fighting the zombies, you can pick up your Intramural Zombie Hunter shirt from Seibei.
A big Busted Tees sale has just begun! It’s been a long time since we have had one of these so naturally I’m very excited. All t-shirts and hoodies are a fairly substantial 30% off their list price as part of Busted Tees’ Spring Cleaning Sale. I haven’t seen an expiration date for the discount, but I would imagine it will only last two or three days if they stick to their usual timeline. Busted Tees have continued their habit of pumping out great t-shirts, so now is a great opportunity to save on those aforementioned t-shirts.
To sum it all up–30% off on all non-clearance t-shirts and hoodies at Busted Tees. You can find the coupon code needed to get the 30% off at the page I linked to. I don’t know when the expiration is–but I would guess sometime on Thursday or Friday probably. Enjoy!
I just watched a bit of Old School recently so I had to share this You’re My Boy Blue t-shirt from Crazy Dog Shirts. The design doesn’t really need much explanation–it’s a funny t-shirt from a very funny movie. If you wan’t a refresher on what the shirt is talking about, YouTube is very happy to remind you.
The design only costs $16.99 at the Crazy Dog Shirts store, which is very affordable. They print on American Apparel blanks for your ultimate comfort.
I just got an email from Onur about his cool new brand out of Turkey called Kaft. They’ve got some very interesting/cool designs, of which this one is probably my favorite. It has to do with separation of powers within the government according to the description, but I admit that my brain is fried and it’s late right now so I can’t pinpoint what the symbolism is. At this point, I just think it’s a really cool looking t-shirt design.
You can pick up this Hakim t-shirt for $34.90 from the Kaft store–it’s a little pricey, but sometimes you have to pay a bit for cool designs.
This Dutch kid I live with just introduced me to The Walking Dead, and I enjoyed the first two episodes so much that I just had to go and find a Walking Dead themed t-shirt for y’all. I found a bunch of cool ones, and I am in the process of making up a larger list of them. In the mean time, though, you guys can enjoy this shirt–an excellent mashup of Christopher Walken and The Walking Dead. Walken’s name lends itself to all kinds of great puns (Walken on Sunshine, anyone?), with this one being an excellent use.
This shirt costs a mere $14.99 at the T-Shirt Bordello store. They print on Gildan t-shirts. As I said, be on the lookout for a full list of Walking Dead t-shirts in the very near future.
T-Shirt Contest just let me know about their latest design winner, which is this awesome cross of Harry Potter with the ubiquitous Abercrombie and Fitch logo. It’s a very clever design, and it’s a great way to show off your geeky love of Harry Potter in a subtle way–I bet some people will just think it’s an Abercrombie shirt until they get up close. They picked Gryffindor because that house is, of course, the best.
For the next six days you can pre-order this shirt for the magically low price of only $12.00. If you order after that I believe the standard price is $20.00 for non-pre-order shirts. The t-shirt is actually designed by Space Monkey, who does some really cool stuff.
This is one absolutely crazy t-shirt from a relatively new brand called Doomsday Attire. For those who are having trouble figuring out what the hell is going on in this goofily awesome t-shirt, let me help–it’s a mashup of Macho Man Randy Savage and the Kool-Aid Man. Do you see it now? I thought so. I don’t know what lightbulb moment led to the creation of this shirt, but it was way too cool not to post up here. Troundup loves interesting shirts.
This is currently the only t-shirt that Doomsday Attire sells, and you can buy it for only $13.00 at their store. They print on Gildan brand t-shirts.
Right after I graduated high school, I did what all hip kids do and traveled around Europe with my friends. Among many other cities, we visited Amsterdam (what teenage kids wouldn’t?). Needless to say, I enjoyed myself immensely while I was there, and this shirt reminds me of that. I also have a friend from the Netherlands and dig cool typographical t-shirts, so it has that going for it too.
You can buy the t-shirt for 28 Euros at the Wildness Now store (much cheaper than other things* available in Amsterdam). Wildness Now has some other cool stuff which you will surely be seeing in the future as well.
*those clogs they love so much, of course. Grow up!
