Back in early November (yeah, I’m slow), I got an email about a new t-shirt from a guy named Brett Amory, available at INDVSL. I dug the shirt, put it away in the “to be reviewed” folder, and then promptly forgot about it. I’ve finally rediscovered it tonight, and I would like to share it with you guys. I really like the “blurry” style (what’s the real name for that, art history majors?), and I love that the design isn’t centered on the t-shirt. It makes it more interesting for some reason.
You can grab Waiter #13 at the INDVSL store for $28.00. INDVSL’s slogan, in case you’re wondering, is “wear art. not ads”. That’s certainly a slogan worthy of your attention.
First, I want to apologize for the lack of posts the past few days–it’s finals time, and they’ve been quite annoying. I’m done after tomorrow though, so I can get back to posting full-time.
I’ve got a couple of Threadless related news items today. First, they’re having a 48 hour $9.99 t-shirt sale, which starts today and lasts until 12/13 at 11:59 PM CT. During this time, all Threadless t-shirts are only a mere $9.99. This is another great chance to get some Threadless gifts for Christmas (or anything else you celebrate). Everyone loves Threadless t-shirts, so your gift is sure to be a hit. Go check out the sale, and remember you only have 48 hours of sale prices.
Additionally, I have another cool Threadless thing–I have my own curated page on the Threadless site. You can check out all my favorite (in-stock) Threadless gear, and hopefully pick up something cool from my list. I was super happy when Threadless emailed me about it, so I hope you guys will check it out, and maybe even give me some feedback on my picks (which you can snag for cheap!). So yeah, please check out my curated shop at Threadless, and enjoy the $9.99 sale.
I couldn’t really think of a title for this post just because the t-shirts at ThenWear are so out there (a good thing). All of the t-shirts (in the section I’m linking to) depict popular historical figures as if they were on a musical tour. You’ve got Galileo’s “Don’t tell the pope” Heresy Tour, Attila’s Huns in the Sun Tour, and many other funny tour shirts. I like them very much. I’ve posted a picture of two of my favorites, but you should certainly check ’em all out.
ThenWear is newly launched (on the 5th I believe), so I’m betting they will be adding even more to their collection. Additionally, they do more than just the tour shirt, so you should check out of the rest of their funny, and sometimes ridiculous, “historical” t-shirt line. The shirts will run you ~$25 from what I’m seeing. Now go check out their store. You can get free shipping by using the code “2011StandardFree“.
Busted Tees is piling on the sale bandwagon with Threadless and offering 30% off for 24 hours only! I’m sorry for not letting you know about this earlier, but I was feeling rough and I slept most of the day (and sleeping = no posting on troundup). But anyway, until around noon est on 12/6 (I think that’s 24 hours), you can get 30% off at Busted Tees by using the code “SAVEME30”. Additionally, you can find the discount at my Busted Tees coupons site.
Stock up on those Christmas presents people!
Threadless is keeping the good sales rolling with a 24 hour long $9.99 t-shirt sale. Until 11:59 pm CT on 12/5, all Threadless t-shirts are only a mere $9.99, and all of their hoodies only cost $29.00 for the same time period. This is coming on the tail of one of their $10 tee sales, as well as a 50% off coupon. I love that they have had so many promotions going on–can you say easy Christmas shopping?
Anyway, make sure to take advantage of the $9.99 tees sometime in the next 24 hours. Additionally, you can get free shipping on orders of $75 or more, saving you even more money. Enjoy!
I’m stopping in on this Friday night to bring you guys an awesome tee called Riding Dirty from Neckbeard Apparel (certainly an interesting brand name). The design reminds me a bit of a someecards design (a good thing), with an old-timey illustration partnered with a funny slogan. I think this tee is super funny, especially because I love those old bicycles (as I’ve mentioned on troundup about ten times now). Anyway…good concept, good execution, great t-shirt. Not much more time to write because I have to go taste test the awesome Tito’s Vodka that I picked up today! Wish me luck.
You can grab this design for $25 CAD (that’s like $5 in US Dollars, right?) at NeckBeard Apparel.
P.S. I do actually know we don’t dominate the CAD anymore. Sad times, though.
Call me a sucker for odd and obnoxious superheroes, but I dig today’s Tee Fury design. In case you can’t read it, the text says, “Here comes…BAREDEVIL. The man without pants”. The illustration is, obviously, appropriately ridiculous. It’s a goofy tee that immediately drew a chuckle from my face, and it’s getting posted up on troundup because of that.
As with all Tee Fury shirts, Baredevil will only be sold for 24 hours. It costs $10, and disappears from production in 23 hours (so don’t wait around).
Threadless’ $10 tee sale may have just ended, but that doesn’t mean the savings are over. Threadless has now released a coupon good for 50% off t-shirts, and 40% off hoodies. This means the prices are pretty much the same as the sale–regular priced t-shirts become $10 and hoodies become $29-$17 (even better than the sale prices). So basically, what I’m getting at is that this coupon is just as good as, if not better than, the sale prices, and the discounts are still rolling. Just use the code “FUZZY2011” to get your discount. It’s that simple! I’ve also updated the Threadless coupon code page to reflect this coupon. The coupon is active through Tuesday, December 6th, so you’ve got a week to get your savings. Also, you can still get free shipping on orders of $60+, making this deal even more awesome (if that’s even possible…).
P.S. I know I’ve only been posting about sales and coupons these past few days, but I promise I’ll get back to posting cool designs once the madness of the Black Friday time period ends.
