Commemorate your favorite stoners with this somewhat recent shirt from LTD Tee. I dug the earlier design they did of Hunter S. Thompson, and I like this one a lot as well. It’s a simple portrait, but I think it comes off pretty well. The red bandana/hat pops.
You can pick it up at the LTD Tee store. It’ll cost you $29.99, but that includes an 8×10 print, a custom box, and some other goodies. It’s printed on Alstyle shirts as well.
So I finally finished the last of my five finals earlier today–it feels good to get that load off my back. I figured I’d celebrate by posting a shirt from one of my favorite brands, Print Liberation.
This one is called Save the World, and is quite witty in my opinion. It’s a goofily personified earth vomiting out green sludge, presumably created by humans. I think the message is valid, and more important for you aesthetic minded people, it’s funny, eye-catching, and just looks good.
If you’d like, you can pick it up for $25 at Print Liberation, printed on American Apparel. The stock is very limited so don’t dilly-dally.
I just finished my last presentation today, so I’m all done except for finals next week! It feels good to be done, and to get a “t-shirt blog posting” roadblock out of the way. I plan to get back into full swing tomorrow, but until then, know that Busted Tees is running a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” sale until 12/9. If you missed the previous sale you can use this opportunity to pick up some gifts for yourself or others. All the details you need are in the picture above. Go check it out!
P.S. Sorry for posting two sales from the same company in a row, but…quite a few people buy massive quantities of shirts from Busted Tees, and they’re both good/worthy sales, so hopefully you can forgive me.
Starting at midnight tonight, Busted Tees will be offering up to 25% off all of their shirts. After midnight, the percent off your order gets progressively lower as the day goes on–so you definitely want to order around midnight if you plan to get any shirts.
The different discount tiers as well as the relevant coupons are listed below:
12:00am – 3:00am: 25% off with Code CBD25
3:01am – 7:00am: 20% off with Code CAESTD20
7:01am – 11:00am: 15% with Promo Code CARD15
11:01am – 11:59pm: 10% with Promo Code CAD10
So yeah, it’s much more beneficial to order between 12:00am and 3:00am so you maximize your discount. All these times are EST, so you pacific coasters don’t even have to stay up late. Unfortunately, the sale involves a promo code, so you can’t stack with the coupon they usually have out. But…if you miss the sale for some reason, it will still be there.
Enjoy the sale, and I hope you all managed to snag some sweet deals on Black Friday!
It’s that lovely time of the year again; where you buy lots of stuff you don’t really need, but can’t pass up because of how good the price is. I have my eye on a netbook this year, but not nearly enough to camp out for it. Other than some clothes and other small electronics, I think that’s about it for me. I do know one thing you should put on your list though, and that’s lots of really cheap graphic t-shirts. Enter this post, which should hopefully help you find some great Black Friday deals of the t-shirt persuasion. I may have missed some small ones, but I think I got most of the bigger sites’ sales. Enjoy:
Threadless is holding a Black Friday sale until Tuesday. All their shirts are only $10, which is a pretty sweet price-point.
Palmercash is offering 20% off all their shirts until tonight at midnight–just use the code TURKEY.
Local Celebrity is offering 40% off all their shirts until Monday, which is flippin’ sweet as they rarely have sales, especially not 40% off sales. Just use the code awyeahson.
T-Shirt Hell is offering 10% off all their shirts until Sunday, which again is a big deal because they almost never have sales.
Nerdy Shirts is offering 40% off a bunch of their shirts for Black Friday. It’s not their whole stock, but there are some good one’s in there.
Crazy Dog Shirts is offering 20 of their most popular designs for only $6.99 on Black Friday, which will lead to some really cheap shirts.
ReThink Clothing is offering 30% off their shirts for Black Friday–just use code friday.
I’m quite tired right now, so I’ve probably missed some. If so, I’ll update in the morning. Also, if I missed your awesome sale, shoot me an email and I’ll try to correct that.
My house has been engaging in quite a bit of Mario related action this semester, whether that be the Mario series itself, or Super Smash Bros. When smashing, Mario is one of my go to characters, as he’s a certified bad-ass. Thus, you can see why I was quite excited when I got an email from Sebastion of 604 Republic about one of their newest releases, Retired Plumber.
The shirt is damn near perfect. The concept, an old and retired Mario, is top-notch, and the execution of the design doesn’t disappoint. He looks just how I would picture Mario to look after spending his younger years gallivanting around jumping shells and smashing bricks. He’s certainly earned all those medals. To finish up my little string of praise, I also like how much his red hat pops out, it reminds me a bit of the red hat in the Life Aquatic shirt I posted awhile ago.
I love this design, and I hope you do too. If you fulfill my hopes, you can go buy it for $18.95 at 604 Republic, who have some more great designs which will be featured soon.
Who all’s going to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows tonight? I’m not, but I know a bunch of people who are. I think it’s going to be pretty sweet when I eventually see it. To commemorate the event, I’m posting up a few new Harry Potter designs which have been emailed to me. Note that this is not supposed to be a list or favorites by any means, but rather the newest shirts from NerdyShirts in the Harry Potter niche, which will soon be followed by a more in-depth post designed to satisfy your wizarding needs. So yeah, here’s two shirts I’ve been emailed about recently as a sort pre-mature, celebratory, “road paving for the big post”y, thing.
A shirt for all you die-hard fans who have been with Harry from the start.
Another design for those who are the closest of friends with Mr. Harry Potter.
So yes, expect a much larger list of designs in the near future, and I did post up a few Harry Potter shirts previously if you wanna go check those out.
Have fun tonight everyone, no matter what you may be doing!
P.S. We’ve also got a Nerdy Shirts coupon going if you wanna pick up one of these shirts. It should be good for 10% off your order.
This shirt…I don’t know. Help me out. I can’t describe it…but I like it. Is there some symbolism (or symbology as much of America would say) of the lion and the squid that I’m missing? Or is it just that quirkily awesome? To be honest, I don’t care. I like it, and it reminds me of Sharp Shirter’s Haymaker shirt which I could’ve sworn I’d previously posted about, but am unable to find (meaning that I’ll be posting about it soon, because I love that design).
Tell me your thoughts if you care to in the comments section; or maybe you want to Facebook or tweet about it though our new handy set of social networking icons at the bottom of this post. It’s up to you to decide! The power lies solely, and squarely, in your hands.
You can pick this shirt up for $22.00 at Sharp Shirter. It’s printed on American Apparel blanks.
Kid Cudi is the bomb diggity…at least when he was rapping. I’m not sure how I feel about his newly announced decision to move into the rock genre and forsake his awesome, awesome rap roots, but I guess we’ll see how it goes. If you didn’t know who Kid Cudi was before reading this post, I recommend you check him out, because he’s got a pretty solid body of work. I’ll post a video of one of his songs below to facilitate the aforementioned delving into the musical world of Cudi.
I also love this shirt. It’s just a great portrait. I love how the black looks on the blue and how much Cudi’s glasses pop out. I’m not sure if Cudi is anywhere near the recognizability required for a majority of people to know who’s on the shirt, but I kind of like that. It gives the shirt a bit of mystery, and “Who’s that on your shirt?” is one of the best ways to start a conversation with new and unknown people
You can pick this one up for $21.00 at The Cooler Collective, who have some great shirts. I’m not entirely sure, but I think they might use American Apparel blanks (at least that’s what the shirt mock-ups lead me to believe).
The “It’s Only a Flesh Wound” scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail is pure, untarnished, 24-karat gold. This design takes that unfortunate knight, throws him on a bicycle, and makes a pretty damn funny t-shirt out of it. The voting is currently closed (it got a 2.99 out of 5), but I’m writing about it so that when it eventually becomes printed (which it should), you will already have this knowledge primed in your minds and be ready to click the “add to cart” button right away.
Go check out the design page at Threadless and read some comments. I also wrote about seven other Monty Python shirts awhile back if you like the movie and wanna check that post out. Maybe you wanna tell your friends about it too and splash that baby all over Facebook–who knows.
